Believe Mack Brown is coaching this weekend and in the bowl game, so don’t think there is a problem with him waiting in the unlikely event he gets the job

I don’t see how UNC could accept Schumann staying on at Georgia with NSD and the transfer portal window open in December.

Don't think they would have a choice. I think they are keeping Mack Brown to keep some players around and secure the existing class. Too late in the game for December signing day to bring in a new coach and expect him to get his own players and/or keep existing recruits

That blows my mind after being unable to field a competent defense for almost a decade.

A team gets that with a quality OC.

In Kirby’s tenure, it’s been …

Tucker > Lanning > Schuman / Muschamp > Schuman by himself at DC, correct ?

I mean we’re talking about some great defenses here, but there’s still a trend line. And it is moving downward

They’ve reached out to Arthur Smith. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.

mean I haven't been impressed with Schu this year

Giving up 3 points against Clemson, 15 against TX and 17 against Tn? That’s pretty impressive. This is by far the worst defense in Georgia Standards which are pretty damn high, that he , Kirby , and Lanning before he left have put on the field imo, but if I’m not mistaken this is his first year being Defensive Coordinator I believe he shared the co- defensive coordinator role with Muschamp last year did he not? Dude is a great Recruiter and heck of a coach I’m willing to give him a break this year,

One of his worst nights ever.

He's absolutely clueless on how to stop the GT zone read.

Can we revisit this? I'm not saying Schumann is garbage or anything, but man these last couple of weeks have been a mess, and the defense frankly hasn't been impressive at all this season outside a couple of games. I don't really understand why Schumann gets this pass for the defense looking ridiculously soft at times. I understand he is a great recruiter.

The defense needs to be better. We need to do fundamental things like tackling and covering the middle of the field a lot better.
