We all saw Gunner run and pass his way to an SECC victory. His performance v ND was not stellar but the O line, play calls and just dumb mistakes were not his fault. Really looking forward to seeing him take the reins next season.

Yall will turn on someone quick. Dude went 24-3 as a starter in 2 years, no one was questioning him being our starter heading into the season. He could have transferred when Stetson came back but he waited his turn. We probably wouldn’t have an SEC championship and an orange bowl win last year without him. And I still think we beat ND if he was healthy.

Idk why people keep throwing out his record? This isn't a criticism on his play, although I do think he regressed this year without Brock and Ladd (which makes sense but idk, he didn't play his best). This is more an indictment on his leadership and personality.

Objectively, Beck made plays to beat Texas in the first game they played too, especially big ones in the second half. But that’s not what this is about. I don’t think many people would argue about reasonable criticism of Beck or any player or coach for that matter. It’s just that the criticism turns into a vile circus. I also know none of y’all would say this shite to their faces if given the opportunity, which says a lot.

I mean Stockton was 12/16 for 71 and 1 int in a half of play. Why can’t both be credited for making enough plays for the team to win both of these games. It’s a bizarre take.

Everyone you have mentioned is highly compensated to deal with this part of their role. They aren't children.

So, because someone has a job, they deserve people to say vile things about them?
I assure you I know more about what Beck and his team pulled in the last 14 days and it is a sad aspect of where we are.
If you were his Dad, would you want him to stick around and have his name dragged through the mud by whacko UGA fans, when he is trying to make NFL day 1 money? I would have done it too. Not necessarily how they handled it.

I have met a number of dads over the years. Kids just recently started getting paid. Our fans have had a vile element to them since way before the pay thing started. UGA fans are not the only ones like this, but “we” are known for being elite at it.
I know another QB’s Dad and especially Uncle much better than I know the Beck clan. I have no issue talking about what I think are their deficiencies. I am just not a malignant count about it. Some people think thats the only way.
