He will definitely make more by coming back. He's top 5 Qb in the country and will sign a nil of 4-5mil. For 1yr. His rookie deal coming off an injury would probably be 4-5mil for 2 or 3yrs. Actually a good decision by him. If he finds a team with decent receivers and a running game to share the load He's a day1 pick next year with a lot more money

You can't act like he did this year with the team...the pouting, the poor performances, then pretend you were going to the draft and now playing for potentially our competitor and expect we are just going to praise you because you stayed for 4 years.

The only thing Beck did was prove for 3 years he was a DGD and then in 1 year tank that notion by his actions I described above.

I don't hate the dude or anything but he also will just be ho-hum to me now.

Theres a reason we parted ways with Beck.

I think depending on how you perceive his actions you will say his character is whatever you think it is. But everyone comes from different places and because of his actions this year, it puts it in question for some people.

Before this year, it was unanimous he is a DGD and I doubt you find anyone saying different.

I agree with rig as this is all about timing. IIRC he won’t even be able to start throwing until the spring. Who is going to draft somebody with zero knowledge of how this will affect his game moving forward?

Also, how would he beat out our current QB room if he’s basically rehabbing during spring and summer practices?

My guess is he’s looking for a program with a weak QB room that he can beat out in a short period of time IF all of his rehab is successful. Then he has another season to show his value for the draft and if nothing else make some more money if it doesn’t work out.

If he stays, unless he has a miraculous recovery he’ll be on the bench next season which isn’t in his best interest or frankly UGA’s either because a younger QB with upside will probably transfer.

Everyone gets so damn emotional wanting to hate and blame somebody when most of this shite is pretty straightforward.
