of course not. an AU player did a televised interview on national TV talking about beign paid and nothing happened. Everyone knows cam got paid. I have a coworker whose cousin was an all american at AU in the 80s and he said he'd get envelopes full of cash all the time. Everyone knows all the big schools pay. But nothign will come of it.

I also highly doubt chubb was paid close to $200K to return to school, that's just not who chubb is.

Wiw! That’s insane! why in the world would rush just start name dropping like that? Did nick and Kirby piss him off or something?

Rush’s whole grift is getting small time business people who want to feel connected to “invest” in him as the next coach. Dropping Chubb’s name was meant to show that he must know things (even though Propst has no connection to Chubb, Cedartown, or UGA for that matter)

Making disability insurance available in case a returning athlete gets injured is not paying them. Also, it must be legit because it involves companies, agents, underwriters, etc. It's not something you can hide.

If thats what he's referring to he's an idiot.

As if there weren't 5 post already on this subject on the Rant and MSB.

I would like to know more about "Nub" and why he recorded the call and why he specifically pressed Rush about Kirby and UGA.

There would have to be proof. Propst still wants to coach on the college level, and if he admits to taking money for recruits he can kiss that goodbye.

Yea,I heard part of that but its still kind of strange that Nub brought up Kirby...Nub obviously got dirt on Rush from his Hoover days but bringing up Kirby was strange since none of his players ever signed with em.

Rush also brought up Hugh Nall as some type bag man for Kirby.

Hugh obviously played at UGA but was more connected to Auburn in his coaching days.

From everything I have seen over the years I had no respect for Propst already. Having said that people talk crap not knowing they are being recorded I'm not sure what to think of this. This Nub guy though I would toss him out right away.
