I think all the people predicting a blowout are being a little to homerish. I’m expecting a 34-31 type game. Feel we come out on top though.

34 - 28 Dawgs ... Goggles connects on 2 FGs ... 34 yarder in 1st half, and a 40 yarder in the 4th qtr to seal the deal.

Don’t be stupid, the first game had 4 personal fouls extending drives, dropped td and missed field goal.
Yes, I actually posted about that after the first Auburn game when 75% of our fan base was in panic mode.

OU only fumbles once against Iowa st.
Ok. They lost the turnover margin by one. Same with us against Auburn.

We beat ourselves, if you watch their game they were outmatched most of the game. Less self inflicting wounds and lost to a 7 win team.
Not sure how they were outmatched for most of the game considering they were up at half, and outfained ISU. We also got blown out (while on the road) and they lost close at home to a worse team.
My main point is it’s just so dumb to pick one game and say that’s how a team will play. They’ve looked better than us in some weeks of the season, and other weeks they’ve looked worse than us. They have a better win than our best win, and a worse loss than our worst loss. I hope we win and think there’s a good chance of it. It’s just not even close to a guarantee.

35-17 Watch the Iowa st game and you will know who will win this game. We are about to get some serious respect on a national level.
What if we watched the first Auburn game you played this year?
See how easy that was?

OU 38 Georgia 24.
I can't state it enough. Your defense will not know up from down throughout this game.
Lincoln Riley's playcalling with the balance that OU plays with, will blow this one open.

But we actually play defense...so I think not.

I could see OU putting 38 on us (I predicted 35) but if you think OU is holding to 24 points you are in for a rude awakening. UGA will score 45+ on OU.

45? Man that's a lot. Don't see that happening, but we're all about to find out in about 2 weeks.
Curious. What happened in the South Carolina game that had your offense only score 24?

Running out the clock right out of halftime. In the very first drive they are running the clock down under 5 secons before the snap.

That was a funky game. Both teams had long sustained drives that chewed up clock and UGA had one end in a red zone turnover if I remember correctly.

Yeah... IDGAF what you or your fan base says... there’s no way you hold UGA under 300 yards rushing and less than 35 points...

Our people in this thread aren't accounting for big plays, I think we bust some trying to grind clock.
I think OU has a few too as it's in their nature. The sooner we get to mayfield, the fewer opportunities there will be.

I'm not sure who wins. But I suspect both teams will score in the 30s. If someone scores in the 40s, it will be OU, and they'll win.
I'm not saying that will happen, but a shootout favors OU.
In the end, I have a feeling the OU defense will prove to be better than most of the defenses you've faced all year. As bad as we are statistically, we always play SEC schools better than their in conference rivals do.
I'm looking forward to the game.

If Baylor can put up 41 against your defense, I like our chances to do the same. We also scored 40+ 6 times this year and 38 in two others.
I think you are selling our offense short.
Just two more weeks, can't wait!

Yeah but UGA is no Baylor.
(Kidding. That'a joke... )
I get your point. Really do. But I don't see that happening again. Go look at our games. Our defense plays to the level of our competition. Our best defensive games have been against our best opponents.
I personally think Stoops is lazy and puts for as little effort as possible week to week. I just think that when it is all said and done and the game is over, we'll look at this game and see the OU defense played UGA better than the majority of their SEC opponents.

I agree with you for the most part because Ohio State in week 2 was the best they've looked all season, but the Bedlam game has me scratching my head. Oklahoma State put up a 50burger on the Sooners. One of the most lopsided rivalries ever and the Pokes were perhaps one ill-advised turnover in the red zone away from winning that game.
Also, how in the world did OU’s defense manage to let Texas, who has not had a winning season since Mack Brown was their guy, out of a 20-0 hole to take the lead in the 4th quarter? Texas has a good coach, I get that. But considering the vast edge in experience and talent at every offensive position, that game shouldn't have been as close as it was.
I’m not doubting Oklahoma’s talent and I’ve stated many Times that they will probably show up to play in this one, but their defense had troubles even in the ones they circled on the schedule.
eta: I'm going with the bold prediction - it'll much lower scoring than everyone is expecting. I think Baker and the OU offense are absolutely for real, but if UGA is able to slow down their run game and keep everything in front of them when OU does pass the ball, I like their chances. 28-24, Dawgs.
