To be fair, Richt complained very openly about needing an IPF here. Multiple times. Good luck to him. Kirby is our coach now. I couldn't give 2 shits what Richt wants to spend his money on.

I guess to a point I can understand OP being upset if the thought is Richt didn't give to UGA as he did/will give to Miami. There's nothing illegal or improper about it but it's that kind of the second wife gets better treatment than the first wife kind of thing. All things being equal (and I have no idea whatsoever whether they are/were) it's just a not being very nice kind of thing.
If that's the beef then it's a foolish one. Richt paid assistants out of his own pocket when the administration wouldn't approve the raises they deserved.

But he will use our money to do it there.
How is he using "our" money?

To blame our lack
of a IPF on him is absurb.
McGarity is a complete joke who had to be dragged kicking and screaming in to the real world of big time athletics.

Except when a first year DC starts pushing him - then it gets approved.

This is a Richt frick you to show he didn't take the job for the money and he can get shite done when the busy bodies aren't in his way...
Posted on 5/27/16 at 8:21 am to Baxter
At this point hes just fricking tired of having to ask for one. He literally went to the 2 of the only places without one.

I've dealt with busy bodies in my way every step of my life. That's how shite works. You either say frick you, we are getting this Mr 120 million budget, or I'm out. Or you could be Pruitt and just embarrass them.

So in a crazy way,we kinda owe Pruitt a debt of gratitude for stirring the shite pot enough to put a few back burner things in motion...

Not your money, either. When you give your money to the grocery store, is it still your money? If you give your money to UGA and they pay a professor with it, is it still your money, or does it belong to the professor?
Am I misunderstanding?

How did that work out for Pruitt?
True, he landed on his feet at Alabama....but Richt liked it here and wanted to stay.

I think it was part of a catylst for something bigger that started the year before . We were hearing about how Richt was paying coaches out of his own pocket and how we didn't have this and that, yet at the same time we are getting calls from Coach Cavan and his group for more money...while at the same time the money was being given back to the general fund.. Maybe Richt used Pruitt to get the thing out there... Not sure... Just know, that when the tell all story comes out... It will be Richt vs the busy bodies and the busy bodies will have a lot of the blame pointed at them...
Good news if you like football is that it seems like there has been a change at the core of how things are to be done at the UGAAD and I am cautiously optimistic that the culture will be changing.
One Note about Morehead. A lot of the folks he used to teach or went to Law School with are powerful lawyers /elected officials, etc. These guys have a lot more "access" to him than they ever had with Adams. A lot of these guys are part of the booster circle. Same ones that Kirby is smart enough to be making himself accessible to... This should be very encouraging to us as well...
A key difference here is that I think Richt had burned too many bridges with too many boosters by the time the Adams train and its hangover left the building...

How did Richt burn bridges with the boosters?
Personally I think McGarity had it in for Richt since 2010 - but the 2012 season surprised everyone and slowed down his ability to get rid of him. You could see the deck getting stacked against CMR culminating in BOBO's departure and the kill shot of bringing in Schottenheimer.
Good thing for us is now he's all in on CKS.

Richt wasn't as accessible and frankly, some of it was the losses and suspensions. You would be surprised how often that comes up in conversations.
