3-3 tie, 2 min left, UF had the ball. We were going in at halftime tied best case. The wheels coming off for UF had nothing to do with Stetson. He made a nice throw after getting a short field. The others plays were a run and a pick-6. I think that's a fair statement.

He threw a 1 play, 36 yard dagger, which gave us a score and put more pressure on UF to score, which lead to the pick 6. If it wasn’t for Bennett’s perfect throw, UF doesn’t get another possession to throw that last pick. It was an amazing throw. What is inside of you that is causing you to not love that throw?

If Stet stumbles

What would he have to do to stumble, in your opinion?

You didn't ask me but I'll answer. He stumbled vs UF early and if he hadn't been bailed out by the defense, I see no reason why JT shouldn't have started the second half. But since he did get bailed out, he had the opportunity to redeem himself, and I have no problem with that, at all.

Pretty good. Nothing, nothing at all. That was a great throw. But it is a throw that doesn't exist if the defense doesn't give UGA the chance to play with house $$. Had the strip not occurred UF gets the 1st down and we go into halftime tied 3-3 imo

If Stet doesn’t make the dagger throw, we go into halftime up 10-0

Me neither except for the last 2 mins.

Either one of two things is true, Josh Pate hit on this as well. Either JT isn’t healthy enough to be the starter with 100% certainty the lat is not a factor at all or Kirby truly believes that Stet is the right QB for the job. and I have a very hard time believing in the latter.

I now believe that Kirby entered the game with JT “In the holster”. Doctors are in his ear telling him to be cautious with JT or he’ll aggravate the lat. maybe it’s a 2%chance of reaggravation, maybe 20% but once we got the 24-0 lead at half there was no need.

Maybe he’s been that way since Arkansas/Auburn/Kentucky… no way to really know. I wish we’d see 18 on Saturday so this offense can find a groove but I don’t know if we will.

I agree with you on based on the reality that we don’t get into a shootout with a team like OU like we did 4 years ago. Those guys scored on us in the first half at will. Last year against Miss St, I don’t think Stet would have spread the ball around the field like Daniels. I don’t think our OL is getting worse, I believe Stet is to quick to abandon the pocket. Stet is capable and has my full support while he is taking snaps, but I would just simply like to see what Daniels can do or coulda done in the 4th quarter like OP hinted.

We have 2 1st string QBs. Both with different upsides.

If Bennett and Daniels are truly equal overall, we should expect both to be drafted fairly close by the big league. So we should get a pretty good, unbiased assessment of them - either this spring or the next.
