iMac isnt close to Mitchell as a complete WR and Theus was far better than anyone we have at tackle this year.

No he isn't. I never said he was. I said that IMac's production is close to what we got from Mitchell. mainly because we could not get the ball to him with Lambert.

And yet was garbage last year and we ran better last year. Do you honestly believe that losing Theus is the reason we can't run this year?

iMac isn't gonna come close to 58 receptions this year.

Theus wasn't terrible last year, rarely gave up sacks or allowed pressures, but we still couldn't run well.

He has tailed off the last couple of games. However, he will have about 1 less reception per game, and about 15-20 yards less a game than Mitchell on the pace he is going. That's not meant to slight Mitchell, because you are absolutely right. Mitchell is 10 times the receiver McKenzie is. We just couldn't get him the ball.

The narrative last year was he was awful. I DO agree with you, though, that I thought he got a bad rap.
But, we won't have nearly the yards rushing this year we had last year. Nowhere close.
Plus, we averaged 5.1 yards a carry last year and are averaging 4.3 this year. I don't think losing Theus explains those two things, do you? It's not like we have an open hole out there at tackle. I am one of a few that believe Catalina is actually doing an ok job. Not great, but not bad, either.

ETA

I just triple checked on McKenzie. he is not as close to Mitchell as I thought. You were right on that. They really haven't been able to get the ball to him the last couple of games.

Ole Miss has losing record and may be headed to probation.

Auburn recruited well the last two years while sucking.
I think it will take more then one bad season for recruiting to be impacted.

Very inconsistent. Almost odd it has been so inconsistent.

Like who????Beyond UF (which his numbers don't include)we've played some
of the WORST defenses in the NCAA.USCe is the highest ranked defense we
played and they come in ranked 48th.

Ole Miss,UT,Vandy and Mizzou don't crack to top 60.

It's been consistent since October 2015. We can't run because our OL is awful.

It's still October. Why would that not be in October stats?

It does hurt, but the problem is having a guy transfer from Rhode Island as our starting LT, and a DT being switched over to RG. Imagine if Kirby didn't get these guys, who would be starting in their place.

Oline has been Richts biggest failure in recruiting and it is showing this year.

Also how would you game plan to make up for our shitshow at Oline? It is so easy right?

Even if UF is included in these October numbers our level of competition (defensively)
was FAR superior in '15 compared to this year.

This is perhaps the easiest schedule and worst collection of defenses we've played
in 20 years.

Its just odd how we had three guys who were on a draft list on the Oline at the beginning of the season and possibly the best RB depth in the SEC and have always ran the ball well the last 15 years and now Richt has gone and he somehow figured how to frick the Oline and running game up real bad from Coral Gables... I struggle to understand how grown up and educated men come to the conclusion that Our first year of dismal line play and poor running scheme happens to be the same year Richt left... Jesus Christ you fricking people.

And somehow UF makes it to Atlanta last year with this

“You should have seen it last spring. We had a pizza delivery guy and a bartender playing,” said McElwain last week at a Gator Ggagement in South Florida. “We’ve come light years. And yet, it was problematic. You’re playing three true freshman"

He forgot to mention his Fordham transfer who STARTED for em at LT

fricker must be some type of Wizard.

Because his numbers were through the 10/16 games. Through the 10/29 games Georgia is averaging 4.30 yards per carry. Florida 4.33.

It is a tad confusing but his '16 refrence in October was to the year and not
the day.

He has the art of cherry picking numbers and obfuscation down to a fine art.

Please tell me you don't still believe this. We have one starter who might get drafted in the later rounds and he's playing out of position.

Pre-season draft boards are usually extremely accurate and rarely change by the time the draft actually arrives, everybody knows that.
