Since we’re discussing qb let’s touch on rb. We were spoiled by Chubb and Sony in 2017. But had clear succession with Swift as a rising sophomore. God bless him but Zeus has been nothing special, Cook is a niche back and Mcintosh has barely played. Are we counting on Milton to save us? Is Zeus going to break through?

dream scenario is Zeus, Cook, McIntosh, Milton with McBride at fullback.

Zeus will improve and McIntosh has impressed.

Frankly, swift wasn't that great this year, so his production can be replaced

Zues has been intentionally holding back on lateral movement hence the freight train approach.

Yea I’m a little more optimistic about the group next year for this reason. I appreciate Herrien and his versatility but as a runner he’s nothing special. I think Zeus can be if he stays healthy. Milton and McIntosh too. Again however if we can’t pass it won’t matter if we have Barry Sanders. Teams will just press and run blitz til Fromm or whoever gets more consistent.

What I'm concerned about long term is how many rb's look at UGA and say to themselves, is this where I can win a Heisman? Is this where I can put up astounding numbers? Is this where I can win a Natty. Do I want to pound it up the middle for 3 over and over.
So far we've recruited these guys but if I'm a 5 star guy do I want what LOTS of other schools offer with a wide open offense or go to UGA. I'm afraid we're going to lose out on many guys who opt elsewhere.

Zeus, Mcintosh and Milton are all over 6'. We need Gurley on campus during spring training to help perfect the stiff arm. Cook will be used more in the passing game. I'm excited to see McIntosh.

I thought I was the only one who noticed he run straight forward usually with his head down. Looks like he was getting a feel for the game after recovering from surgery for almost 2 years.
The run game took a step back this year. With the Oline only losing Andrew Thomas and the Pitt's Boss's recruiting, the run game may be a strength next year.

I’m more concerned about the quarterback situation. Fromm goes down and we have a true freshman and Stetson to chose from. I know it’s convenient to say they couldn’t be worse than Fromm but they can and likely would be.

Zeus needs to be the man but we need to recruit better players on offense in general including RB.

What? Do you really want to think what where would've been w/0ou em this ?

WTF is gonna replace his production? Zeus and McCintosh hasn't impressed anyone and the clock is ticking on Zeus...he's shown little this year.It has the potential to be a real issue

Swift was best as a freshman as a situational back. He is not a 3 down back. I wish him the very best and think he cared here.

That said, he is not in the cadre of the UGA TBU...

I am thinking after two years of inactivity combined with his injuries that he is being eased into cuts. They seem to send him up the middle all the time. Maybe they don't want him running wide where he has to make cuts. Hopefully next year we see a slightly different version of Zeus. He has a ton of power.

Cook is a niche back

He bothers me more than anybody. Seems to go down on first contact and last year had trouble hanging on to the ball. He seemed to protect the ball better this year, but he had limited touches, so it was hard to say for sure. Tons of speed and at times showed a little power, but not much, all in all.

Mcintosh has barely played.
What little I saw of McIntosh, he looks really good. Actually better than I expected. It will be interesting to see how he progresses. If he hits the weight room this off season he could be really, really good, imo.

It will be interesting. We have depth, I hope it is quality depth.

This was a bad offense. Swift's struggles were more due to the offense than Fromm.

We see what the running game looks like without him.
