Mac Jones
Joe Burrow
Trevor Lawrence
Tua Tagoviola
Trevor Lawrence
Deshaun Watson
Jalen Hurts

All 1st rd draft picks except Hurts who was a 2nd round pick. Bryce Young looks the part to be added to the list. Stetson Bennet does not.

Difficult to argue this point.

So I wont.

And neither does JT. That's the issue. To beat Bama, our defense has to play better. Have to keep them under 30 at least. No QB on the roster can win a shoot out with them.

The last game manager to win was 2015 Alabama with Jake Coker. Times have changed . Elite offense beats Elite defense. Alabama has averaged 36 points vs Georgia in the last 4 meetings including 41 points the last 2 matchups.

Unfortunately, neither does JT Daniels.

We will need to win it in a different manner if we are to win it

Georgia can beat Bama with the defense they have now. They shite the bed, and it was apparent with as many blown coverages. I still don't understand why we had Stetson throw the ball 50 times either.

It was a clown world last night, and there was no excuse for it.

I guess we will never know. So far, JT is undefeated as the starter at UGA. I will say this, JT has a quick release. That's how we got torched last night. Young got rid of the ball in a hurry

Defense gave up 10 points in the 2nd half. Offense scored 7 and gave up 7 in the 2nd half. Another trip to the red zone with no points.

*2 trips to the red zone with no points.
Shitty 4th and 9 call and Stets pick at the 19

That Bama team we played yesterday can be held to less than 42 points, seen it happen already by teams with lesser talent on both sides than we trotted out at all positions. We just didn’t give the effort + have the right game plan to do so

It's pretty obvious now that we're gonna have to take risks and bring massive pressure against Young if we get another chance at them. We did a pretty good job at shutting them down once we started to pressure him more in the 2nd half. He killed us anyway when we played it safe on D because of his ability to buy time in the pocket.

Devin Bellamy tweeted last night basically you can’t win nattys today with game managers you got to have gun slingers.

The way they've been pushing the unity of this team and the love of the Brotherhood etcetera you can't just dump your starting quarterback.

Now that this has happened, I could see a change happening.

I agree with your premise but Daniel's body language on the sidelines suggests that he does not want to be out there.
If JT had not been hurt and had most of the starter reps throughout the season, then yea, I think we might have a chance with him but not now.
Kirby will start Bennett and the only way we win with Stetson is to completely transform the offense to conform to Bennett's strength a dual-threat QB.
Basically, Bennett should be rolling out to the right with an option to run or pass on every down.
It is very difficult to defend the run and the pass simultaneously.
The RB should be blocking or trailing on every play for a pitchout or as a pass receiver.
The TE's should be blocking and then sloughing off blocks as receivers.
When the defense compensates, do traps up the middle with the RB cutting back left against the over pursuing DL.
We will not beat Alabama with the diminutive Bennett standing back in a collapsing pocket that he can't see over.

How would we know? He looked good enough for awhile there end of last season...good enough to make a bunch of lists. We may not know what he can or can't do long term unless he returns next season.

But at least with Daniels, it's an open question. We know what Bennett is and isn't.
