Whatever happens Beck has earned my respect. Not many players sit on the bench for 3 years. Reminds me of hutson after Murray.
He is the only top 20 qb from the 2020 class without a start or to transfer.

I don't see any reason he has a bad season. He's worked hard for 3 years and the talent around him is great. The fumbles are a bit of a concern. If he does poorly it's also a reflection on Bobo.

I believe Beck is a lot more mobile/athletic than most realize.

The only weakness in Beck has been confidence in reading the field . That can come with experience, though some never can process it all and get it done. He has great size, arm, and feet.

Not necessarily. And esp the fumbles - lets hope he gets that under control in big-time situations...

He looked much more in command and comfortable during G Day this year than he ever looked in the past. I think he’s going to do well.

I'll take the easy path and predict Beck plays well and starts all year.

Agreed. The people who have watched Georgia practices, i.e Aaron Murray and some beat writers, seem blown away by Beck. I'll default to that for now.

There’s a new phenomenon out there called “the Stet Effect “ (just a working title)

The Stet Effect:

-it involves people suddenly and suspiciously being scared shitless to criticize or doubt the unknown capabilities of Crouton Beck
-because of having previously seen counts beclown themselves and self-immolate over Stet
-and for fear of following in the tainted footsteps of ITDawg, etc forever enshrined in humiliation in the UGA history books

-here’s the deal though
-it was perfectly understandable and reasonable to criticize or doubt Stet before he took the reigns
-if anyone tells you that they thought Stet was the man before he took a starter snap, they’re lying
-nobody would say that idiotic shite though

-but here we are
-Beck the Great!!!

-set your watches by it. Here it goes
-lots of emotions and feewings about Beck being the man apparently
-but I bet not a single one of you actually feels it in your gut
-where it counts
-I know I don’t

-in what available clips the plebians like us see, Carshawn looks pretty good
-in what we can not see, the coaches think Carshawn Beck is pretty good and named him the starter, publicly
-the seeds of dissent grow into sunflowers, only to fall back into the soil and grow more flowers for future generations, or be eaten by birds
-Muschamp and Bobo both have sons on the UGA roster
-Is Hunger Games truly done forever?

Bobo’s son is an OL. He has been 3rd Center this fall.
