Not sure why they would leave...

As we have seen, you need 3 healthy backs ready to go for every game.

Also, both are coming off injuries and should make an attempt to add to depth chart

Programs are allowed to have an unlimited amount of position coaches now. I just hope we hire an associate wide receiver coach guru who can work with our receivers and help them get their confidence back and remember how to catch.

Hines Ward would be spectacular.

IDK why Hines would leave a playoff team as THE wr coach to come be our assistant wr coach. Cool if he did but I don’t see it.

Could pay him just as much if not more money. Is there really some prestige with being the wide receiver coach of Arizona State? Probably this also...

Hines Ward is a Georgia legend and has gone on to make a name for himself both as a player and a coach.

Currently, Ward is a head coach for the XFL’s San Antonio Brahmas, but if he had the opportunity to coach for Georgia, he would take it.

“I’ll quit whatever I’m doing,” Ward said in an interview with JC Shelton. “I’m coming here. I would love to comeback.”

Ward, who grew up in Georgia, played for the Bulldogs from 1994 to 1997 before his 13-year NFL career. The former receiver said that he and the rest of Georgia’s 1994 recruiting class made an oath to keep Georgia as the best of the best, and if he had the chance to keep that oath, he would take it.

“When we committed to the University of Georgia, it was trying to keep the best players in the state at the time,” Ward said. “When we all signed back in 1994, we were the best of the best players in high school football. We all took a vow to try and change things around and certain players, their career took off, some made it into the NFL, some got injured, some not. This is like the dream job for all of us, being from the state of Georgia.”

Almost lost him last year to OSU. Wants to line up and rush the passer and OSU is telling him he can. He’s going to hate having to defend all that running in the big 10z

Why doesn’t Kirby ask these players what they wanna do? Seems like that would be important to know. Happens a lot here

he’s about to put 2 first rounders in similar positions in the NFL draft this year.

But when you have people in your ear telling you the grass is greener it’s easy to be persuaded when you’re a me guy. He’s 20, and we all did dumb shite we thought was right.

He knows what they want to do. The pass rushers want sacks, the receivers, RBs and TEs want yards and touchdowns. The DBs want ints and pass breakups. And they all want to get paid a million bucks a year, a fast car and a fancy girlfriend, or vice versa.

What Kirby tries to do is somehow manage all of those self-centered goals and turn them into something that resembles a good football team composed of responsible individuals. Easier said than done.

Third 5 star outside linebacker to transfer out in the last two seasons.

Brenton Cox started the trend. Jermaine Johnson bailed to.

A lot of these guys get tired of playing so much contain and want to be unleashed.

...It's kind of like playing so many 2 tight end sets on offense. We kick a lot of arse and are the top program in the country right now, but our system will make it hard to ever keep wide receivers and outside linebackers happy.

Noah Thomas will be a star at Georgia. 6'6 200 and runs a 4.45 40. The one thing that really shows up on his film is just how fluid he is. Also hearing Tayln is a really fluid runner. Both will be starters next year. There is a wr on this roster remotely close to these two. Expect transfers.
