I hate talking about the playoffs to people irl. Can't count how many people in the last 15 minutes here at the tailgate I've heard say something like "welp if this hokds up I guess we're getting bama again".

Seems if a team had to win to stay in playoff contention today, but did not play because they lost 2 games this season… said team should not jump an undefeated team who plays today.

I think the committee would manipulate the rankings so Michigan and Ohio state wouldn’t play until the championship if they both make it.

Probably so. Where is the other playoff game besides Peach bowl though? Oh state vs Michigan would sell that thing out real quick

Not time to count TCU out yet. This is kind of weird game they’ve somehow pulled off all season.

They wouldn’t. It’s not like they just played in the conference championship. They will have had a good period of time until they play again in the first round. I think they’d rather them play in the first round than play in the natty. When Georgia dropped down last year, they actually went to the ranking they deserved.

TCU doesn't look that good to me. K-State and Utah look more like playoff teams to me. I assume if K-state makes this close or wins they are in, but I'm sure Saban will try to pull out all his antics to try to sway the committe into letting Bama in.

TCU loses a close one in OT. Is that good enough to secure a playoff berth? I would think the committee doesn't want 2 SEC and Big 10 teams in the playoffs. I'm sure Saban is going to do everything he can to sway the vote in his favor. What a crazy college football season.
