Slayton burned him with that deep td and it looked every pass play was against him yesterday for completions.

The Slayton TD catch was more on the poor pass rush. Stidham had all day.

He gets torched at least once if not more per game. Basically every long TD pass people throw on us is against Parrish.
He's turned into a liability.

I dont understand why he is starting over 26

he's usually in good position but just struggles making a play on the ball it seems. He is great in the run game though, but idk if that is enough to keep him in the game against a competent passing attack.

We need to get some taller cbs that are at least 6 feet tall. There are games every year where a team will pick on our smaller corners. Sure these guys may be good for their size, but when you are having to cover a 6'2 + wr who can box you on the pass, then it is a different story. Ole Miss trashed us last year by picking on our smaller guys. I know Kirby is tryin to get them taller dbs though.

Teams have been going after whoever he is covering since he has been back off of injury. Against a better team Saturday we give up at least two more scores.

Yeah, they spent the first 7-8 games going after Deandre Baker and I think they've finally wised up that he's a shutdown guy and the other side is the weakness.

Not true, slayton caught that ball while it was under thrown. Parrish looked like he was in quicksand.

Dude...watch the replay. Count Stidham's time after the snap. Had to be 4-5 seconds. He was untouched. Our DL ought to be in his face within 3-4 seconds. That is just the way it is. You can't cover receivers forever. The rush has got to get there.

I was there dumbass, saw it live.
Who cares if he had time to throw the ball, still bad defending the pass.
Go fricking watch it again

Those two long catches were two of the best catches I've seen all season fwiw. The one by Bone went through Parrish's hands. Not like he's Briscoe or Bryan whatever from 2009 and 2010 or anything.

Yea, now we know why Parrish didn't become a receiver. I mean seriously, how do you not at least have the presence of mind to slap the ball away in that situation. If you are going for an interception you better make sure you catch the ball otherwise you are just giving the receiver a chance to make a play. Every time I see stuff like this I think about "the Prayer in Jordan-Hare" and it makes me sick.

Honestly, no one in the secondary is really without fault (except maybe Deandre Baker). Even Reed, who has probably been the best playmaker DB all year, has blown some coverages here and there.
I still think that Parrish would've been best suited at playing the nickel/star position because he lacks size in covering WRs on the outside but he's quick and is a pretty good tackler.

True, I think our secondary will actually be better next year. We are gonna be starting the size and speed we need back there. Parrish was really good before he got injured, but since he has come back from his injury he hasn't been that great
