Let’s get to your 100’s of examples of the normal seasonal flu causing that kind of ARDS in a normal heathy young person....

You are changing your statement now.... ARDS had nothing to do with your statement. You said flu doesn't kill people in their 30's. I said yes, it does, and I can post many links to it. Now you turn around and change what you originally said. So just say it. Say "Yes flu kills people in their 30's" and we can move forward.

This is the sad truth.

Whats even sadder is that the only way you aren't going to parade around as a loud victory monkey is if there are many many deaths. What a sick mind you are, and you are probably living live as normal person in suburbia GA.

NY director of hospitals just announced on TV that that have 60,000 employees and just got 1M more masks.
1600 hospitalized with Coronavirus symptoms or confirmed.....

Yet 64 nationwide are serious and critical.

Really trying to figure out why DJS said only serious are being allowed into hospitals. Thought people just scared from media with a cough from Corona weren’t allowed into hospitals

Now I don’t know whether to believe WHO stats about serious/critical or DJS, when he said earlier all his projections were from these same agencies

Here’s a quick one I just found:
LINK

quote:

Among the deaths was a 32-year-old North County man without medical issues and a 27-year-old South County man who had additional medical issues. Five of the other six residents who died also had medical issues in addition to the flu. The county did not report if any of them had been vaccinated.

So, 2 of the 8 in this article didn’t have any medical conditions and 1 was a 32 year old healthy man. Also a 27 year old with other medical conditions. This wasn’t even the 2017-18 season.....

Another:
LINK

quote:

A 10-year-old Connecticut boy died of flu. So did a 21-year-old bodybuilder, and 4-year-old Jonah Reiben of Dayton, Ohio. These are not the usual sick and elderly people who die from influenza. But every year, flu carries away perfectly healthy young adults and children

Interesting article and stats about 2017-2018 flue season that was biggest in February and March.....

quote:

During the severe 2017-2018 flu seasons estimates indicate that more than 900,000 people were hospitalized and more than 80,000 people died from flu

DJ,after you digest IT's links (you won't), I have another question for you (that I know you won't answer)

Now that test kits are widely available, why are states and municipalities still restricting who gets tested to just the very sick?

I understand not testing 375 million people. But at this point, if someone has symptoms, and they test negative for flu and strep, shouldn't they get the test?

It's a yes or no question.

So you are saying WHO and CDC are lying about only 64 critical or serious? Or, NY lying about having 1600 hospitalized......

I’m confused who you are believing these days and which media regurgitation you are spewing

First let me say I’m not pushing any conspiracy theories.

What I am saying is that we’re so gripped in fear that we’re on the verge of bankrupting a significant number of families and throwing the country into a depression in the effort of slowing this pandemic. Which is more dangerous based on the data at hand?

We’re dealing in numbers now that are in the low thousands of cases in a country of $300M people. I get the “it’s just beginning” argument but it’s been “just beginning” for over a week now and we’re still not Italy. In fact, we had our first case 10 days before Italy.

In SC we have 147 cases and have shut down all schools, restaurants and bars...and the public is hoarding supplies. We have the same rumors of a 2 week lockdown. If that number goes up by a factor of 100...to 14,700...2% death rate (which is high) would be 147 people. All sad but all also all probably with existing co morbidities.

Can you reasonably argue this is a proportional response?

In addition, we’ve going to print trillions of dollars in stimulus and the rest of the world is doing the same. There are enormous amounts of private debt that could go into default due to this...this is debt held by every pension, insurance company and 401K in the country. What country buys our debt event they’re having to sell trillions of their own as this is a worldwide problem.

The financial impact of this will result in more deaths than the virus.

I have been saying this since day 1.

DJS tripled down yesterday that we were past the point of saving the curve cause Trump fricked up....

Muwaahhaha Media and Epidemiologists told me soo...blah blah.

You ever think this gets epidemiologists jollies off?

You know, China is returning to normal and had roughly 3,800 deaths total, with 3,600 coming from the providence which it started in. They are back to normal. If it was still bad, they would be keeping up with their bleaching of the streets.

The limit on testing is reportedly because the limited supply of N95 masks and shields is needed for hospitalized patients. They are trying to save doctors' lives.

But I thought only serious or critical people were allowed in the hospital and they tell everyone else to go home and drink fluids.....

According to WHO, there are 64 critical or serious patients in the US right now and the rest are mild

Also, Trump just opened up the liability for 3M who now have access to 35M masks they can send out

So it’s not 100% the same, but the wife wanted to watch Contagion tonight. It was a bit too eerily similar for me, especially with what we’re living through right now, and that came out 9 years ago.

So who should we listen to, you? I'd rather listen to doctors and epidemiologists. You do realize the number of infected are just the ones that have been tested and confirmed? There are potentially hundreds of thousands and perhaps even millions who have it and don't realize it, and we're just supposed to carry on like nothing is happening? Risking the lives of the elderly and the immune compromised?

Yes, let's pack stadiums, restaurants, movie theaters, and other venues and see what happens. It's just the flu.

Totally back to normal by August? Probably not but a lot of restrictions on gatherings should start easing by mid-June.

Check my accuracy later. If that's not the situation, something's gone terribly wrong.
