haven't cut 1 penny from CDC since DJT took office.
It’s not about the overall budget, it’s about a specific area....

Rear Adm. Timothy Ziemer, whose job it was to lead the U.S. response in the event of a pandemic, abruptly left the administration and his global health security team was disbanded.
Is that true or false?

Our testing is on par with much of the world as has been our response.

How so? Our testing was on the very bottom. Epic failure.
Perhaps SK is the outlier with their strong response, but we know China and Italy have taken some drastic steps. Now Spain and France have too. Now Berlin and cologne closing bars.
Meanwhile, our bars were packed for st pat parties.

How has this been dishonestly reported? You said you could prove it.
But with a question like this, I’d like to point out something.
Just look at the obnoxious difference in reporting of this compared to H1N1. 1,000+ Americans had died of H1N1 before the Obama admin did a thing, and even then the response was minimal and the media hype was virtually non-existent.
But like 5 elderly people who were already immunodeficient died a couple days after Trump had already taken some precautions, like banning some travel and brining in testing kits which were already in very limited supply to distribute scarcely around the country, and yet he’s still been non-stop lambasted as not doing enough.
Even though his response has been on a magnitude of about 10,000x that of Obama with H1N1, and this virus is nowhere on the level of that one in the relative timeframe, and before even 20 people in the US have died, the media has not only screamed “Fire!!” in a packed theater, but has been clambering to rename this the “Trumpvirus”, and have been visibly giddy and excited at its negative impact on the economy and markets, and can’t stop inferring or even outright claiming that this is all Trump’s fault somehow.
The Left and the Establishment want so bad for Trump to fail and lose, that they have tried for 4 straight years to demean and destroy him with obnoxiously clear double-standard reporting, twisting and spinning context, manufacturing negativism and fallacy, insane exaggeration, downplaying or omission of positives, and outright deceit and blatant dishonesty.
From two fricking scoops of ice cream and over-feeding Koi fish to the Coronavirus... the media cannot and should not be trusted or relied upon to report on anything that affects Trump positively or negatively. It’s going to be biased to the point of willfully incorrect.
And you’re either a fool to believe it, or a dishonest morally bankrupt piece of shite because you want to believe it because it makes you feel good for it’s impact on politics.

It's entirely about the budget in terms of this discussion.
Here's what he said:
You mean the federal agency that Trump cut and wants to continue cutting

Is that true or false
Completely irrelevant in terms of this discussion.

You misunderstood the terms then. He wasn’t taking about overall, but rather that specific part of the cdc.

France, Germany, and Spain just did in the last 48 hours or less and they were much closer to a large and concentrated breakout. Ours will happen in the next 48 hours in rolling fashion.

quote:Dude, this virus has been in the US since at least November, and probably earlier, and already spread across this country.

My wife (who’s a hospital nurse) and 2 daughters, from the end of December all the way through early February, coughed all day every day and had intermittent low-grade fevers. But tested negative for flu.
2 months of respiratory issues like nothing we’ve ever seen before. And my wife’s entire nursing unit had the same thing during the same period. And we know of many friends on FB now who are posting that they or their family or people they know had the same thing.
Just wait a bit longer and you’ll see the news clamp up and avoid discussing the millions of people who are coming forward with this same story and putting 2-and-2 together. “OMG, I already had the virus and lived through it!”
This will mean that tens of millions of people have been exposed to it and lived, making the mortality rate plummet to around typical flu numbers.
And the media will hate this news because they want to keep fueling the fire and trying to use it to hurt Trump and the economy.

Most people are talking about cuts within the cdc in that specific area of the current problem. Focus on that.Overall increases don’t prove that those isolated cuts didn’t happen.

There is nothing that supports this claim.
If this is true, then it’s true everywhere.
So explain:
Why did China suddenly get overwhelmed in January?
Why SK in FEB?
Why Italy in March?
Using your logic, should have been everywhere already, and None of these crisis should have occurred. Clearly that logic is way off.
