Not saying you are not correct or she did not say that, but could you provide a link with that? I plugged that quote in and it isn't coming up. I just want to see the context of her statement, when she said it etc.

It was all over the news 2 weeks ago. How are so many of y’all forgetting it? Google Birx 2.2 million.

Trump referred to the alleged “politicizing” of the coronavirus by Democrats as “their new hoax.” He did not refer to the coronavirus itself as a hoax.

You surely understand how so many people thought he was calling the virus itself a hoax, and mainly his own wacko supporters. He surrounded this by a bunch of “it’s gonna go away so soon” BS.

There is a difference between saying "2.2 million people will die by years end."

“2.2 million dead if we do nothing” is close enough to “worst case is 2.2 million dead.” Quit splitting hairs by supporting beefs nonsense.

they want to claim an expectation of 2.2 million deaths, then they certainly would have to admit that Trump must have done what was necessary to keep the numbers WAY below that projection.

Since Trump placed the responsibility on the states to fight this, it makes no sense to give him credit for their success.

Considering we didn’t get conned by the trump propaganda, far lower.

Y’all are so far involved in politics, y’all think it’s a sport. People Becoming fan boys of a specific political party is a big reason why politics are so toxic in this nation. Y’all cheer for your team no matter what, even when major failures happen. That obviously goes for both sides, but only one on a southern Republican loaded board.

The governor of New York won't even let Remington make ventilators and PPE. Over politics. Their factory is just sitting there.

But wait...

When it comes to PPE and ventilators, Trump says the states are responsible.

When it comes to reopening their economies, though, he apparently thinks he's in charge of that, per his comment yesterday: "Some in the Fake News Media are saying that it is the Governors decision to open up the states, not that of the President of the United States & the Federal Government. Let it be fully understood that this is incorrect. It is the decision of the President, and for many good reasons."

Best comment on Trump was from Richard Stengal:

The man is Constitutionally illiterate. Such a deep ignorance of how federalism works. Separation of powers is just that, separation of powers...Clueless. Lethal incompetence.

Hey and where are all the Republicans calling him out for his desire to be King, since states' rights has been a Republican core mantra for decades???

Yes. Because the media and the left insisted that was what he said. If you read the actual text, or even listen to the speech you would easily see what he was saying. be honest. Have you read the text, or listened to the speech?

Are you accusing Fox news of misconstruing his comments? Wow. He needs to get a LOT better at using words.

"... if we do nothing"

Here's an analogy to illustrate how big of a moron you're appearing.

"If we launch every nuke on the planet tomorrow, all life will die and humans will go extinct."

DJS logic: "Beef just said all life is going to die and humans will become extinct tomorrow."

"... if we do nothing" is NOT a projection, much less a definitive statement that says, "2.2 million Americans will die by year's end."

It's as IF you don't know WTF "IF" means or the context it creates. Or you do, and you're just being dishonest. Which is the case.

But again, you go on looking like a buffoon all ya like. People are laughing at you and think you're an imbecile, on top of being a dishonest clown, though. You should know that.

You're only right if you admit the democrats were constitutionally illiterate for demanding he shut the country down in the first place.

Deal?

You know that could be turned around backwards. "It's his job to take care of the states!"

"Stay out of our business! We will open when we want to!"

So, what about it? What do you say? No matter what Trump did you, and the media, and the rest of the left would have fought it.

Y'all fought Chloroquine, Hydroxychloroquine, Shutting down China, and we could go on and on.

It has become a sad knee jerk reaction. "What Trump wants, we don't want!"

However, are you under the impression that trump should take over all health issues that are on the states level?

If the states break the shutterin too early and Cronavirus spread, are you going to be here to condemn them, or are you going to argue that trump should have forced them to obey?

I am still waiting on your condemnation of Cuomo and Deblasio and their handling of New York in the crises.

The had a stockpile of PPE and they sold that stockpile. They told their citizens to ignore shuttering and to get out and go to movies, Parades and picnics.....

You tell us. Do you think Cuomo and Deblasio is capable of making a sound decision on Coronavirus? because they haven't yet.

They want to open it up? Where are the leftists who wanted to scream all Trump cared about was the economy, and not the people? now you want to claim he doesn't care about the economy?

The left is flipping on their positions like a ninja

It's really unfortunate that these decisions are having to be made in an election year. It seriously clouds the incentives of the decision-makers.

I agree 100%. People will make statements to posture and gain attention. It just makes everything worse.

That said....for Trump fans.....if he pulls this off with fewer than 250,000 deaths (and it looks like that will be a given) he will use that to his advantage, too.

This is a no win situation for the left.

When people wake up and choose to spend time out of their day during this pandemic to blame trump, they are doing a miserable job of acting human.

There is no sense of humanity in those people. There is no sense of what is important in life when all compasses point to Trump as the lodestar.

Or, the argument could be said that they have no choice to spend their time this way. They impulsively cant help themselves. And that is the symptom of Trump Derangement. They suffer from a disease and it is no longer their fault as TDS has consumed their souls.
