Nope. It's actually an indisputable fact.
Sony's parents are from a horrifying place where they literally eat cookies made out of dirt and raw sewage water. Sony, on the other hand, is from a place where his athletic talents coupled with his hard work and dedication have made him a millionaire at the pinnacle of his chosen profession by the age of 23.
But here in the twilight zone, the ingrate-psychosis phenomenon makes people like you jerk off to the righteousness of dirt-cookie-land while falling all over yourself to downplay the role of the land of opportunity. It's truly disgusting.

You are so unbelievably dense. What about the hundreds upon hundreds of kids who grew up in abject poverty all across the world that go on to be multimillionaires in Europe playing soccer without ever so much as sniffing American soil?
But of course in Jefferson Dawg bizzaro world the US is the only place you can go from poor to rich playing sports.

Good for them.
But, if you think that any of these European countries provide more of an opportunity to do this than America does, you're either ignorant, retarded, or you suffer from HTDdog ingrate-psychosis. Possibly all of the above.

Seriously, let's do the math here to expose frauds like HObnail and HTdog.
How many kids have gone from poverty to millionaires by the age of 23 in all other countries combined compared to the ones that have done it in the U.S.?
It's not even close, fruads. Unreal.

Let's see the numbers then. Especially the part where you said it was "indisputable fact" that the US was the 'only county in the world' where this could happen. Please provide evidence of 0 cases of this ever occurring outside of the US and please provide statistics for the US numbers as well. I'll hang up and listen.

You know what I meant. And you know that I know there are millionaires in other countries. Hell, you can even become a millionaire in Haiti if you're an upwardly mobile go-getter that can wiggle your way into a good foreign-aide corruption scheme.
But, if you want to parse words and take what I said exactly literally then fine, let's parse it and take it exactly literally....
I repeat:
Nowhere else but in America can someone become an NFL football SUper Bowl champion millionaire at 23 years-old like SOny.
This is an indisputable fact. The End.
hang on...

Oh, ooh ooh, but but but but.... you'll say, "well maybe there's no NFL or super bowl in other countries, but he could have been a millionaire playing in a soccer league in Uzbekistan!!! Weee!"
And I'd say, well he could also attempt to do that in America too, dipshit. Or he could attempt to do it with basketball, baseball, driving a racecar, golf, hockey, science, business, politics, banking, rapping, inventing, pimping, a dip dap flimping....
Long story short, there's more opportunity here than in any other country in the world.
And YOU know it. And Sony's parents know it too. WHich is why they came here and didn't go to some other country.

Never disagreed with it, but it certainly isn't the only place with opportunity, as you have "indisputably" claimed.

I'd still like to see the numbers that you seem to have figured out here too, especially since you are claiming I'm a fruad (sic)

He's mentioned how Haitian kids look up to him. Do you think it was probably cool for them to see someone representing their country on such a massive stage?
Posted on 2/5/19 at 2:43 pm to Dawgsontop34
Good for them. Although I’d bet that 99.999% of Haitian kids don’t even know what American football or the super bowl are much less know who Sony Michel is.
We’re talking about the poorest country in this hemisphere here...where they make cookies out of dirt, and bathe in sewer water while the rest of the world watches sports. Women can’t even go outside after dark in many places there without getting raped.
I like and respect Sony, but no, I don’t think he wore the flag for Haitian kids to see. I think it’s just another millionaire celebrity platitude deal where he wore it for other Americans to see. And maybe somehow he thinks that’s going to make the non-millionaires find a charity to donate money or something.
Anyway, I’m sure he’s sincere, but there were other Haitian American nfl players who were very vocal in the past back right after the Haiti earthquake, so he’s probably emulating them to some degree. Meanwhile, millions and millions of dollar in donations later, Haiti is still a disaster and possibly even in worse shape for all of the attention. It’s total corruption down there, and a lot of it occurring by people flying the same flag Sony wore.
I think an American or UGA flag would have been a better choice. Much worthier symbols imo.

The main reason I brought up the kids was because Michel mentioned them on the Jimmy Kimmel show.
He said there were kids who were wearing his jersey and stuff like that before the Super Bowl.
Sony reps UGA super well so I’m not worried about him not having a UGA flag.

Pretty sure that the NFL and the NBA are the two most profitable sports leagues on planet earth, right?
Well, I don’t watch NBA, but based on the commercials, black players make up 90% and I’d say the NFL is probably somewhere around 75%.
So there you go fruad face.
In fact, come to think of it, never mind just sports....but is there any other industry in any other country on earth that has created more black millionaires than the professional sports leagues of America have?

Your assumptions and 'pretty sures' mean nothing to me. Let's see the numbers. You are so confident and sure of yourself that no other country can pull their poor out of the gutters through sports like the US can, I'm sure you have some sort of analytics to back up your assertions, right?

Why does this have to be mutually exclusive? Can one not love their "adopted" land that has provided so much to them while also remembering and honoring the place from which they hailed? My wife has met his family and sees them regularly and, by her account, they are genuinely wonderful people. Whatever they came from, it helped to form who they are in some way or another. I don't think they should be expected to disregard that fact.

Happy for Sony but I could not be more happier for Boss Andrews, one of my all time favorite dawgs he has two rings and should be seeing a massive payday soon I would think.
Completely agree with this. From undrafted to a favorite player of tGOAT coach and QB. Heck of a story for a DGD.

Haiti must have something going for it. When Rush Limbaugh travels there he carries a new script for Viagra.

Here's a tweet that went out to Sony today from someone who lives/might do mission work in Haiti
So he has the chance to inspire and be an incredible influence on young Haitian kids. I'm so incredibly proud of him for that.

What does this have to do with Sony honoring his parents by having a Haitian flag? You specifically attacked him over that.
