Heard on ESPNU that the average point differential in SEC games is 10 points. That's not a huge delta, considering it used to be 14+ a few years ago.

I’ll be on pins and needles come game time, but for whatever reason I’m pretty confident going into this game. Maybe because we’re at home. Maybe because it says Ole Miss on their jersey instead of Bama. Idk. But I’m normally nervous about every game. We’re either about to dominate or get whacked.

We didn't show up for the first half of the game in Oxford last year, but then again we were also only one blown coverage away from successfully erasing a 28 point deficit to mighty Bama IN BDS.

Maybe like Heupel's offense, it's harder to run fast tempo in a loud stadium.
