32 years old, appears not obese, was hospitalized for 5 weeks including a period of intubation.
WTF is going on here? What other pre-existing conditions are known?

Pre existing conditions just mean you’re more susceptible and less likely for your immune system to fight it off. Doesn’t mean if you lack those conditions you’re completely safe, just moreso than others. Sounds like Jeremy just had the misfortune for it to actually make into his lungs and begin replicating.
