The first one was going to the TE on the out and up the deeper guy was likely not the target. In fact, not sure he should have been there based on the route the TE was running

His two interceptions were punts that pinned the offense inside their own 5.

We punting on first and second down now? Because I’m pretty sure the first one was right after a big first down. The second one may have been 3rd down but the point still stands.

Just because the passes pinned the other offense down doesn’t mean it was good or smart football. Just to be clear

Would like to hear what happened here. Wouldn’t make any sense that other route went to that spot and brought coverage with it.

To Stetson’s benefit, there were a couple drops first half that added to the lack of production.

I didn't see it that way but i didn't have the views you get on TV. Regardless of who he was throwing to the point is the same. They weren't good throws but they werent costly turnovers and the result was most likely better than a punt. They got the ball on the 2.

I never said it was smart football. I said that the interceptions weren't costly and were basically punts. I just turned on the Kirby Presser and lo and behold, in the first 30 seconds he says exactly what I've been saying.

Weird.

Hindsight is 20/20 - if they drive down the field and score and we lose the game. The reason would be the turnovers. Would it not?

And Kirby is doing coach speak. No fricking way he was happy with either throw when they happened.

It would not be because of turnovers, no. We would have been punting the ball if the Florida defenders dropped them. They were going to be getting the ball either way.

The first interception was on a first down right after we hit a big play to Darnell. We punting on 2nd down? If you didn’t watch the game just say so.

I was at the game so I definitely watched it.

I don't remember it being first down. I was certain they were on third down.

You would certainly be wrong. The interception was on first down.

Well no shite. That's what I just said. Hence the word 'was' being in past tense.

The dime Stet through on the 9 route to #10 was pretty much a dagger shot and shows you the kid is accurate with the deep ball.

Great arc on the ball to put it where only the WR could catch it. Reminded me of Fromm to Mims.

Then stop saying it’s just as good as a punt. Both of his interceptions were on first down. So you saying we were about to punt both times was factually incorrect. Don’t spin a narrative with bad info.

2ND AND 3
UGA 44
J.Cook rushed to FLA 49 for 7 yards. Tackled by M.Diabate at FLA 49.
7:52
1ST AND 10
FLA 49
S.Bennett pass INTERCEPTED at FLA 8. Intercepted by R.Torrence at FLA 8. Tackled by UGA at FLA 11.
