If that previous ball was to Cager or Pickens, that's likely caught for a 1st and goal or a TD.

Agreed, he likely would've used them if we picked up a first down. Also, it's tough trying to manage the time at the end of a half like that. You want to have enough time to score but not too much time for the other team to have a try.

Exactly. He wanted to be up by 2 possessions, knowing we get the ball. I don’t mind it at all, and I’m normally super critical of Kirby’s end of half clock management.
