It looks like we have some good receivers in this class. It will be even better if Burton signs. There will be no excuses for not having an at least top 15 offense next year.

I like the idea of giving Kirby and Luke a couple of months to focus on Jones. Remind him why he's been committed for so long. Maybe have Greg Robinson (the last tackle AU put in the league) pay him a visit to talk about what it's like to be a top 5 pick at one of the most valuable positions and not even get that lucrative second contract.

I know last year there were a good handfull of guys that signed today privately and publicly announced at an all star game which I get...but why would this, the reverse basically, make any sense? Why commit today but not sign til later?

Could be the sign up was already scheduled for ESPN.
It’s such a hard decision to make, and I think we lose perspective on that all the time. Maybe someone said something that makes him want to re-think the decision.

It worked out for roquan. Coaches left his verbal commitment spot and he switched allegiance to uga. Never signed LOI so he always had an out of it happened to UGA.
