2 only because we'll just run it down their throats like we did vs USCe. I hope we get to finally see Beck play but if he's seriously transferring out then I doubt they waste their time on him.

4 seems like the right number for O/U. Kirby doesn’t typically pile it on either, and with Mason out, he will probably go pretty easy on them. Expect a lot of depth to play 2nd half

I liked seeing JT play all 4 quarters.
Especially with the backup offensive line/wrs/rbs.

You put too many backups out there, and we end up punting and not getting the good reps to develop cohesiveness and improvement with the backups.

I suspect they will let him play as much as they can. They need to get him back in the groove and locked it with the rest of the team.

That said, if we go way up they will just about have to take him out. But they want and need to get him as many reps in during games so he can settle in with the offense and Monken can figure out Daniels strengths and weaknesses, so they get him ready for next year.

Next year really needs to be a huge year for us. Playoffs at least. I realize we lose a lot on defense, but our offense should be at it's best, and we should still be very good on defense.

Obviously, we dont want him injured.
And with backups at OL and RB, there is a chance of that. But we were in a very run heavy set and max protections (3 man route late in the game).

I dont think it unreasonable for him to continue to work with the 2nd team and be a leader as they march downfield.

Completely agree with is...we need JT and those WR's to mesh and gets the max amount of reps together.

Putting Beck in mid way through the 4th, seems fine to preserve JT from injury.

I still think he's gonna transfer, but maybe something changed now that Dwan left. One less guy competing for the 2022 job.

I said it in another thread. Beck should fight for the #2 job in the spring. If hes leading or wins it, it would be worth it to stick around for 2021 and the lead heading into 2022 as the man. 1 snap away from being the man in 2021.

If he isnt #2 after spring, that would be the time to go into the portal. Beck isn't going to be able to walk into any legitimate program and be #1. And it would be pointless to leave a top 10 program to be an equivalent #2 at a lesser school.

I agree, especially since some of those on the Oline very well could be first string next year.

This is possible, but with Daniels being here next year and Vadegriff coming in, I would think we see Vandegriff RS (play his 4 games) and be ready the next year as starter. I suspect Beck sees the writing on the wall.

And that's okay, too. We could then bring in a top flight QB in the 2022 class and be set for a bit.

I want to see Prather Hudson get a few more carries. Did you see his grin on the sidelines after his only run Saturday?

3. They'll run the offense, but lean heavily towards the run in the second half.

2.5Q is enough to fit 3TDs.

He needs more touches, he is definitely dynamic.

Does he come back for another year because of the covid rules ?
