To be fair most of the day Beck was running against the second team defense. So not exactly apples to apples

I thought the guy to me that looked the best yesterday of all the quarterbacks was Carson Beck. Lucky for him he was going against the No. 2 defense, not that vaunted No. 1 defense that UGA is going to be able to put out there this fall but he looked really comfortable, big, strong arm. He, too, just like D’Wan also made plays both inside and outside the pocket. He’s someone I’m interested in watching over these next couple of years, how his development takes off within this system. But all three quarterbacks, like I said, I thought played really well…”

He pretty much missed the entire season last year and there's no reason to think he isn't talented...plus he's been in the system. for a couple of years.

My thoughts exactly. Not to mention after last season we need all the WR's we can get. Depth and talent. I am thinking we will see a major jump in production from this position.

I read somewhere that when Newman quit the only person he talked to walking off the field was Beck and he told him it’s his team now.

?

He informed the staff of his decision on their off day. Made it official the next morning before practice.

I saw Murray's comments and, for once, thought his analysis at least seemed founded in some fact but this wouldn't be the first time Murray was making a flashy point to get headlines. Never been impressed with his analysis and doubt I will start now.

Man what an odd way to do a school that gave you an opportunity. Stranger leave Wake only to quit georgia. Then fields being there.

Strange.

Fields and Newman have a connection. Both have worked with QB guru Quincy Avery.

Maybe they were taking in the scrimmage and then collectively decided to take Newman out.

Yeah, and I’m not saying it’s true but it struck me as weird if it did happen.

Avery is a fricking cancer and the biggest reason Fields is at OSU as he's connected to the qb coach there.
