Not classy at all. If we can try to rattle him without sounding like the worst fan base in college football history (I'm biased towards University of Colorado on that one) then I'm all for it.
So what about our student section loudly chanting "frick YOU SPURRIER!!" his first game in Athens with USCe??

Not classy.
Unfortunately, students are typically stupid and obnoxious, even more so when they consume large quantities of alcohol. As much as I'd love it for them to be more mature, I can't expect much from that bunch.
The rest of the stadium shouldn't participate, IMO.

Sorry for the confusion.
I live in this beautiful lib-state called Colorado, where the "football fans" are Denver Broncos fans, and those who pay a little attention to college football I call "Saturday-afternoon fans", since they barely care about college football at all except sometimes during the games.
The CU fans are terrible. I went to the UGA/CU game a few years ago (AJ Green's awesome catch!) and even though UGA had a losing record (1-3) before we lost to CU, the CU fans rushed the field and acted like they won a championship of some kind.
On the way out of the stadium, my wife and I were called the worst names for simply wearing our UGA attire, and a few lovely individuals were trying to goad me into a fight on our way out. Locals were trying to start fights with UGA fans (who flew/drove in) a day or two before the game. A close friend of the Richt family was visiting my church the day after the game and painted a dire portrait of the fanbase out here, as well.
There are crappy fans everywhere, but I find it appalling that these people can be so ugly when they don't even care about their team except for maybe a few hours on gameday. I can't even talk about college football with most people I work with unless they are transplants from Nebraska.
So yeah... CU fans are terrible and I don't want our fans to be anything like them. We already have a leg-up since most people in the South who attend the games are actual college football fans to one degree or another.

I guess the 'No means no' chant could apply to CU as well. LINK

Awesome Idea! Anything that gets the fans into the game has to be a good thing.
Somebody print and distribute these on the bridge.
ESPN would be all over it!

Class is for losers.
Mettenberger is a rapist SOB. Any man who touches a woman like that is a rapist.
In Pakistan women drag men like him out into the street and pelt them with rocks.

Idk if women do a whole helluva lot in Pakistan

I beg to differ. Class transcends winners and losers. For example, SOS was a classy loser the other day but has been a classless winner the past few years.
Mett isn't classy, but we can be. We can also be classy as we knock him on his hindquarters all game.

Since when is raising awareness about sexual assault not classy?
For all we know one young man in the crowd may think about that b4 making a huge mistake.
No means no is always an appropriate message!

I guess there's a fine line between a PSA and taunting in this case and I'd rather not walk it.

Public Service Announcement is definitely the way to go.

I'm certainly interested in seeing the signs that are made if the worst happens and Gameday comes to Athens.

Aw man, that would be Awesome!
Hate to bring this up but this has already been done. UF vs UGA when Tony Cole and a couple of others were accused of Rape but maybe not charged yet. Forgot the specifics but they were playing and the Gators student body was rocking the house with the "no means no" chant. I thought it was appropriate then and now. UF. Blew us out if I remember right.
