Thomas Davis was a LB his first year playing in 2002 and that was not a great fit. Was moved to safety in 2003 and never looked back becoming an all american after his junior year.

A bit disingenuous to call him a linebacker though, considering he kinda stunk as a linebacker and most of his career was as a safety.

Honest question, who would you guys take at this point in their career Roquan or Dean?

I think Roquan flashed more because he was way more talented than others on that defense, but I think Dean is the superior LB.

Kind of works two ways though.

Don't you think Nakobe's surrounding cast makes him a better LB? Roquan didn't have a Jordan Davis picking off OL for em.

Nowhere near the best but Rennie Curran is one of my all time favorites.

No. Perfect example - go back and watch the play where he tracked the rb down from the opposite side of the field in the michigan game, specifically before he takes off. He guides that defense and I haven't seen one better.

Sorry, completely disagree.Your surrounding cast makes a big difference especially for LB and a 1 play snapshot doesn't prove otherwise.

Roquan made multiple sideline to sideline plays in his career and is obviously a Pro Bowler this year.

If you don't think having 1st rounders (Jordan Davis,Trevon Walker) playing in front of you doesn't make a difference for a LB there isn't much to say to convince you otherwise.

Roquan. Dean is very good but Roquan was a beast.

Honestly there are people I’d put before him in those existing lists but Alec ogletree was a middle too. Maybe he didn’t read the game like Roquan or nakobe but there was no doubt he got the job done too

No doubt. But I’ve yet to see one read the game better than Dean
