Demoralizing just when we thought those days had passed.

The leaping penalty on that punt was in effect a turnover. The ball was kicked to us and we gave it right back to them. Turnover.

Fromm played that "bad game" because every time he went back to pass, after the first drive, he had at least 2 Auburn defenders coming in on him. Our O-line was ineffective after that first TD drive. Our D-line wore down because the offense was terrible. I'm going to have to live in this state for a year and listen to the damn Tiger fans.

Maybe after December 2 Tiger fans will be crying instead of talking.

That's the same thing people said about Eason last year. Stop defending him. It was a bad game. It's okay. He's a Freshman. He was due a bed wetting.

quote:

Undisciplined play follows when your team counts on things going right in a hostile environment only to find that the other team is playing with much more controlled emotion. Auburn flat out wanted this more than we did. Maybe it's complacency? Maybe it's hubris? Either way, I hope the team learns how to handle adversity because this was the first time they faced it from a team that was not going to give them any chances (unlike Notre Dame).

I posted the below in a thread a few weeks back and got downvoted into oblivion. Glad to see everyone finally got their reality check...

this team (with a true fresh QB to boot) has very little experience playing when the game isn't going their way. Sooner or later (probably against Auburn or Bama), they are going to get punched in the gut. How will this team respond being down 21-7 going into halftime?
