According to Dawgnation the concert is going to start after the dawg walk, while the players are stretching and warming up. We may want to lower our expectations.

In that case we're going to get the safest, most sterile act imaginable. Certainly won't be rap.

If the players are bobbing their heads to Outkast instead of stretching properly, will we blame Kirby or McGarity for all the pulled hammies and groin strains?

first off...Corey Smith is not bro country

2nd...most of the acts ya'll mentioned would not be a hit with the crowd...just cause the majority of us on this board appreciate good music that does not mean that the AD is gonna bring in acts that haven't had a hit in like 20 years...including OutKast...

Isbell, Sturgill, Stapleton are in no way connected to UGA and all are on tour right now...and don't really align with pregame sec music anyway

I have no clue who it might be but I can almost ensure that the acts mentioned in this thread are NOT it...

UGA wouldn't be releasing statements about mystery musical acts if they weren't swinging for the fences and trying to get a big name. They're all in on this thing. Even calling it "93K Day" now.......

I'm back to predicting an Aldean acoustic pep-rally set. He'd probably do it for free minus expenses too.

It's going to take at least 3 years to get the Richt out of some of these players.

Oh I'm sure.

I still shake my head thinking back to the Belk Bowl 2 years ago, we did something stupid and some goober behind me started cussing out bobo. Didn't have the heart to tell him that bobo had already left a few weeks earlier for another job.

How long before we get a 93KDay official hype video from UGA....with the spoken word slam poetry and images of thunder clouds forming over Sanford and the players gutting it out sweating through drills?

You know it's coming.

I definitely prefer the slam poetry vids we've been getting compared to that little 5 year old girl or that 90 year old grandpa that narrated some a few years back. Yeesh.

To be fair most of our internet fanbase reads like its made up of 5 year old girls and crotchety grandpas as opposed to slam poets

If Corey Smith isn't considered bro country then he may be in a category of music called "like bro country, but worse" if that is even possible

I have it on good authority that Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton will sing.
