So happy to see him get that strip-sack scoop-and-score at the end of the game.
Guy has been holding down the fort on defense for years but rarely makes the highlight reel. Just an outstanding linebacker who’s almost never talked about nationally when people mention our defense.

Agreed. I dont give him enough credit. He is so automatic.
I love seeing him make plays behind the line of scrimmage. Those will move him up draft boards.

Wasn't really recruited by the Alabama teams and Kirby wanted him early on. Looking like a good find. He was uber productive in HS so I am not sure why the big Alabama teams looked over him.

We stole him from LSU if I remember correctly. High 3 star/low 4 star type recruit that flashed on game film. I'm guessing camp speed, height, weight held him down on the rankings.
He was "ready to play" as a true fresh. Upside may have been the reason bama never entered the equation. Already had guys on the radar ahead of him.

This is his best year by far. He has really accepted the role as the one of the defensive leaders
