I think he’s great sometimes some bone headed calling but with weapons he had last year with Pickens and what he does with the tight ends I think he is a great coordinator and just wait till we get our weapons back

Here is the summary. In the past we did shite that made absolutely no sense what so ever. Wrong players on the field. Horrible play calling

Who exactly are you referring to?

Mike Bobo? He continually set records as a OC and also coached the all time SEC leader in passing yards and he also had no where near the OL talent we have now.

Did you watch any games between '11 and '14?

Schottenhiemer and Coley were both pretty bad and Chaney wasn't bad at times but probably more of a reflection of what Kirby wanted to do.

So far,so good with Monken this year and you obviously have to like his flexibility but there were times last year when he had some head scratchers...UK and Cincinnati
come to mind.

but can UGA's offense be good enough to win a national championship?

No doubt in my mind that it is. I think the defense compares favorably with 2011 Alabama and LSU and i think the offense is better than both.

Key word was: think

We will know more as the season moves along.

All that said, I also think it takes a good to great defense and an excellent to great offense to win a title with a healthy dose of luck. We've not needed much luck to this point, but I suspect we will at some point. If it turns out we don't need any luck, then we could possibly teeter on GOAT. (I hate to try to call something this because it seems almost every year it is used and that is not what GOAT is all about)

Which sucks because he's got size and speed to be an impact WR...and he wasn't dropping balls in practice. He's twice been totally looking upfield at where he was headed before being sure he had the ball.

Game nerves? Hopefully it can be coached out.

Had some friends of mine whose son played with Robinson at ELCA. (The son ended up playing college ball, too) They told me when Georgia first signed Robinson that he seemed to be a good kid and an outstanding athlete...but tended to get lackadaisical with his training/workouts.
They said if he could get focused and apply himself he would be off the charts good.

His dad posts over on TnD... Very level headed and wants his kid to succeed. FWIW, does he actually have *that* many dropped passes? I haven't seen a stat, but I think someone posted that prior to the Arkansas game he only had 2 dropped passes? It felt like more, but I didn't fact check it either.

We need him to turn the corner/crack the code/whatever colloquialism means he catches more balls and becomes a weapon, because I believe AD Mitchell seems to have some limitation in terms of the number of snaps (or consecutive snaps) he can play. Has been hinted that it's a medical condition and that the staff is working on it with him, but no clue what it is.

i don't blame him for the Arky drop, if that was the pass between the hashes running full steam at a safety?

Question #2- If Kearis Jackson is healthy enough to return kicks, why the hell isn't he starting at WR?

If I’m not mistaken he had 1 drop the Clemson game and I believe he had 2 against UAB and Arky It may not be that many as stated but I think some were and should have been caught

Thought that was simply being a true freshman and not knowing everything he's supposed to know.

He's been fine, the transition from power to zone blocking has been bumpy.

If Jones could take on LT and Mims RT, you could ease off of Shafer and Ericson.

Still missing arguably your top 3 receivers and developing your 3 freshmen receivers in some big games will pay off in January.

SoFl (before he got his hand slapped for talking about medical/injury info) mentioned that he had something specific going on... not asthma specifically, but seemed potentially breathing related IIRC. Specifically, called out that he had some limited endurance issues that led to not being able to go full 60 mins. No clue if the medical staff has put that to bed completely or not, but just was mentioning it as a possible reason why JRob contributing consistently would be more than a "nice to have".

Coming out flat

Happens to just about everyone on occasion - sometimes, things just don't click. Under our ancien regime, it was far more frequent than that, which was bad enough. But the cherry on top was the occasion "Oh shite! That was today?" game.
