Because you and I could see hidden medical issues? If it turns out that it's not true then I'll happily admit I was wrong. But at the time he was being mocked as a mid first round pick. He had nothing left to prove. He had a ton of film and the NFL knows who he is. Coming back wasn't going to improve his stock.
Excuses...the other poster was right, take the L.

During those physicals there is always something wrong with somebody. No athelete's body is in perfect shape.

No doubt. Board is full of douchebags saying shite like “shows what you know about football” like they were the architects of the dam patriot’s run or something. Take the fricken L.
And if it bothers you, don’t be a douche. Simply have a civil debate.
Rant over

There’s more to the story than just the posts in this thread. And I’m generally a cool dude who loves to talk football but I’ll freely admit that I can be a douchebag at times. Sometimes it’s called for and sometimes it’s not.

Im with porter on this one.
You can play "gotcha" all you want. But 90% of the mocks had aziz in the first round until the medical news was released.
AND there isnt much of a difference between pick #32 and pick #40.
The semantics of "first round" is kind of retarded when comparing to pick #33, etc..
I feel the same way about recruiting rankings. The #30 kid in the country is a 5 star. The #33 kid in the country is a 4 star. So is the #250 kid in the country (4 star). But #260 is a 3 star. And #1200 in the country is also a 3 star. Etc..

BS, this convo was about money, and Azeez cost himself 10-15mm.
You can slob his knob all you want, but we know what this thread was about and it got bumped because dude thinks he knows everything about everything.
The difference in 32 vs 40 is a lot of money. He could have been a top 20 pick in 2022.

You got a link to tell me that Azeez lost $10M by dropping 15 spots in the draft?

not as much as you think

Or he could have torn his ACL in summer practice and went 4th round.
Either way, you are also not thinking about the fact he will be earning money a year early...
Also, you have any idea of the LBs coming out next year and where he would fit? Any idea what teams needs will be?
Lets face it, he made a good decision for himself and his future based on risk-reward. He also didnt miss out on 10-15 mill

How so? He would have had the same knee problem in next year's physical.
