I would give the sheldon cooper award to fibonaccisquared, when he still posted here. He was just like DJ in his tenacity but typed in essays instead of sentence fragments.

Can't remember the debate but one time to prove a point Fibonacci posted a graph with the little points plotted out and the line of best fit and talked about the correlation coefficient of r.

I will take a lot of flack for this, but I have actually had some very rational conversations with Sidewalk Tiger. IF you stay civil with him he typically remains civil. But if it starts going down hill he can become a handful. But you can't get upset just because you have a different view point.

I have a love/hate relationship with the Rant.
It comes with the territory as far as arguing logical points as a lost cause. So I’m the a-hole that’s noticing something really dumb and pointing it out in a “drive by” manner.
If you go into it with low expectations, and realize it’s not some intellectual summit where we’re solving world hunger, it’s fun.
DawgsLife, meansonny, and djsdawg are another breed I can’t compete with. Truly committed to the cause.

Could be the fact that it takes a year to get approval to post, and only after providing a DNA sample, along with a signed permission note from a legal guardian.
I'm sure some people just give up after a few requests.

As someone posted earlier, so many lurk. You hope you reach even 1 if this world is to get better, not worse.
I do not understand trolling, it is not my age group. The biggest difference between my generation and those that have followed is the narrowness of their cognitive abilities.
As example - I was fond of the music of my generation but also listened to the music of my parents, grandparents, and great grandparents and could appreciate and enjoy it even if all of it did not appeal to me the way it did to them.
