Guess he forgot about LSU beating us 42-10 in 2011 and still throwing deep in the 4th qtr.

Kirby even said it in his interview, the analytics chart said go for 2.. To hell with those LSU fans! I’m sure they were the same ones that loved that dancing and shite talking Burrow and the LSU team did in the SECCG back in 19. Oh and side note LSU if you don’t want UGA to go for 2, don’t let them get that 6 in the first place!

Umm. They had 0 pass attempts in the 4th quarter in 2011.

I thought, at the time, that we went for two as a message. The previous two drives, we went run-run-pass to milk the clock... like the game was over, but then LSU kept throwing bombs and went for two (and failed).
I thought the message was clear. We're trying to run out the clock and let you save some face, but if you want to keep going, we can and will score on you at will.

That and he probably wanted to see the play under game conditions against a quality opponent.

This was #1 about the chart and how LSU kept coming back. Chart says go.
The play rewarded a receiver who has fought back and Darnell. You could tell how excited the team was. There are some other options they can run on that. Darnell is a matchup nightmare on that play.

Thank you, I hope many of you dont think that absolute nutjobs on The Rant are indicative of the average LSU fan. But yes we have our fair share of embarrassments. The Rant is without a doubt the "Lunatic Fringe"
Congrats on the SEC Title. UGA beat LSU in every aspect. The FG return for a TD I think dramatically changed game, then compounded with the Interception off the head. I was pretty confident at that point the rest of the game was academic. That 2nd half was a mirage. UGA let their guard down a bit but knew anytime LSU got within 11 they could just add more distance.
The FG return was a shining example of how well UGA is coached and LSU needs more work. Special teams has been a disaster all year for LSU
LSU had little chance anyway as UGA is just better in all three phases.
As for the 2pt conversion. Kelly, nor any LSU player was upset about it. Its called football. Nor should the LSU fan base. Dont like it stop it... But dont be a bitch about it. You got beat, learn from it.

I will add the fact we even won the west and got to even play in that game was a MASSIVE overachievement and ANY LSU fan that isnt ecstatic about this season even with the ups and downs is an idiot. A&M loss tarnished the season a bit, that was an inexcusable loss.
This time last year we had 39 scholarship players on the roster and had to start a 3rd string WR at QB to even field a team for the bowl game.
I am hopeful for the future...

I think he is going to leave anyway.
We have Walker Howard (5 Star) on the team who redshirted. He is supposedly the next up guy. I doubt he wants to stick around as that game got a TON of coaches wanting him and he would start.
Although very appreciated of what Jayden Daniels did for us this year. I cannot speak for others but I am ready for him to move on.
Nuss or Walker next year. The Bowl game will be very telling...
