I think his dad said it but we hadn’t gotten official word on his academic situation or decision on leaving

We did not know that he would be able to participate in Spring practice though. That is huge for figuring out the offensive line.

I saw an article that projected him as a 4th round pick a few days ago and was concerned he'd go.

He could easily be a top-3 OG and early-mid 2nd round pick in 2021 if our offense takes off and he just does his job. Especially with the changes Monken and Luke are likely going to make with the OL blocking scheme.

Dude is an absolute monster of a human being, country strong, and can actually move pretty well for his size.

And he's been a dawg fan all his life. I remember him coming to camps when he was like 12, and he was already around 6'3 220 and looking rocked up.

I think he believes we have unfinished business here and he wants to give it one more go before he has to put his long lived Dawg life behind him and move on to the next phase.

Why do you think that?

He could have left this year and surely gotten drafted, but he didn't.

And again, I know he's been a huge dawg fan his whole life. Didn't he commit to us when he was like 16?

I think he loves being a UGA football player more than life itself.

Why? Am I mistaken and making a poor assumption?

How do you fail Sociology?

All digs aside, glad he is coming back.

Have you seen some of the sociology professors at UGA? They are like the antithesis of big country football players. I’m sure every time Ben opened his mouth in that class his grade dropped.
