@Deeprig

You think they'd move Lilly to QB coach?

And Bobo even admitted he wasn't qualified to be QB coach when Richt hired him (though that was probably just him saying that). Isn't Bobo married into Dooley's family too? I'm sure some favors were done.

But Bobo also had been a QB coach at Jacksonville State for a year which is a position coach.

No. That wouldn't make any sense.

Regardless of the new OC, I don't see much change in how the offense is run... Most idiots on this board can call a handoff to Chubb...

So why would they need a TE coach. No way Richt takes the responsibility on being the QB coach again.

Whoever told you that you have to take tests as a GA and whatever else tgey told you lied to your butt. GA is an internship and GA's break down film and basically job shadow.

Bobo had no connection to Richt or his system.

not a requirement

The only connection was that he was coaching and was a former Dawg.

At least he had coaching

Being a GA is nothing like being a position coach.

Bobo had been a position coach at Jax St, and being a GA is sort of a training ground for position coaches.

No having a connection to Richt isnt a requirement but its all in who ya know and without a connection its hard to get a job.

GA is basically job shadow and "do boy". That 1 year of experience doesnt mean much.

Bobo did 2 years on the UGA staff in grad school and one year at Jax State. He also was the son of a coach and showed promise and a desire to coach from the get go....

It's a hell of a lot better training than selling insurance.

You're still ignoring the fact that Bobo was a QB coach at Jacksonville St.

You are ignoring the fact that Green was coached by Bobo and Richt for 4 years.

Grad school doesnt mean jack squat when it comes to coaching. Its almost pure observation. Strength GA's are the most hands-on bc they have all of the red-shirts and the walk-ons.

So was Joe Cox. Should we hire him?

Let's see what Parker Welch is up to. Maybe he can take the job.

You suggested a potential QB coach and asked what others thought - I think you can tell by now that you're on an island with David Greene.

As for your demand that we suggest other options if we want to criticize Greene - I would go with any other guy who has coached college QBs at a major program. Literally any of them would be my selection over Greene.
