There's no real advantage to rushing other than making fast friends (or are you just bros? Idk...) and obtaining a license to douche it up at any time. You can still go to frat parties, date and bang sorostitutes, wear short shorts and croakies (as dumb as they look) all without having to pay dues to an all male social club. Some guys will argue that it's a useful networking tool but in my experience that's hardly worth the price of admission (the job market is far too fricked nowadays for some misguided sense of brotherhood to be the difference maker in a career).
ETA: With that said, if it looks fun to you then go for it. Hell, you may love it for a year, come to hate it, and bail after that. You may wind up loving it for life. Who knows. Everyone is different, I suppose.
