The WhiteHouse is just a shell, it's been stripped and rebuilt a bunch, not really very historic and kind of a dump, in the middle of a terrible neighborhood.
As it is, that Hilton is no longer viable and we need a place to entertain within a fortified heavily secured location, even if they are bat shite crazy Democrats as well as retard Republicans.
Most places have large palaces to do this in, so the ballroom truly makes sense.

We do not need a billionaire dollar ballroom paid for by the taxpayer that no normal citizen will ever be able to step foot in. You are debasing yourself to suckle Donald's teet. Get a hold of yourself man

Don't you have an assassination to plan you fruit cake.

Being enraged about the ballroom is a sign you’re just looking for reasons to yell about “Drumph!”
Of all the shite in the world is the ballroom that big of a deal? Do you know for certain that’s not a cover for shite being done “under” the ballroom?

Oh okay so you're just like Lewis and Herschel. Sad. I thought since you were about consistency you would actually be consistent
And yes, a billion dollar pet project paid for with my tax money bothers me. Color me conservative I guess. It may take more awareness than you have but picture this same plan but with Kamala as president. Do you think you would have the same reaction as "it doesn't really matter"? I think not.
And to be clear, when trump pitched it as a non taxpayer funded project, I couldn't have cared less. But now that our money is being used, especially in the current environment, yeah, it's an issue to me. And it should be to everyone.

I didn’t say I liked it. I just haven’t paid attention to it. Freaking over a $1B Federal project is sadly irrelevant when compared to the amount of USAID money that’s been going out the door.
At least we have something to show for the money with the ballroom.

You and I will reap the same benefits from the USAID monies and this ballroom. Zero.
Why not care about both? Lol. That's kind of my point.

Would just take it further left, the right is the same as they were when they freed the slaves and voted for the civil rights bill that even the Democrats who authored it didn't vote for .....
The right hard stopped long ago, the left has found new and creative ways to go further left... past the point of lunacy .

Then I look forward to your next two pages of twitter imbeds of things that aren’t focused solely on Trump.

I wish
John Birch types accused IKE of being a Communist. Back then they were a tiny fraction of the Right. Since then, they have grown.
Both sides are dangerously off course, need to go back to the beginning when it was a The Federalist vs The Democratic - Republican Party. Parties have flip flopped since, need to get back to some sense of order.
Teddy gave us the Federal Parks
Franklin gave us the WPA
Since then it has been a crap show but the 80's election and the debt cycle by BOTH parties since will wipe us out.

Buddy he's the president and the one that came up with the ballroom and the one that started the war, and started the tariffs...why would a political thread not talk about the sitting president especially one that has his fingerprints on a lot current affairs that affect our day to day life? Good Lord

The Military is a form of communism, I can see why people would think such from a man who led it. That said, much of the country served then and had a hybrid system that was destroyed by 401ks....
Again, there is not a way for the right to go further right....

Therein lies the crux of it all!
Revolutionary War
World War I
World War II
In terms of real Democracy, these may be Merica's only wars where all served and none shirked their duty. My old man and all my uncles served in World War II. How many POTUS since from either party served active duty?
Regan was in war movies
Shrub did the Cush when his dad served Active
DJT has "bone spurs" but plays gold at his late age
Clinton did not serve
Obama did not serve
Biden did not serve
In the War of Northern Aggression, Yankee's bought their way out of service
In the War of 1812, shanghaied sailors were not the full military
Korea meant some with power stayed home
Vietnam meant the poorest got to serve
Middle East is kids dying for Oil wealth
Spanish - American may have been set up

If tweet fails to load, click here. So basically the same deal they offered before all this shite popped off except now Iran gets money. Embarrassing and maddening.

There is about 4 competing factions trying to take control of Iran, we negotiate with the reasonable one but the other 3 do everything they can to screw the normal one. Iran is going to have to fix this problem themselves but all we need to is keep doing what we are doing until it sticks.
