Presidents don't set the budget, and it's amazing how any congressional efforts to curb literally any sort of spending in a bill gets bitter seething demonic opposition, particularly from the left.

This cesspool has been going on for ages. Both sides have their abuse, just lately they use blame over compromise. The past decade or so has just seen an escalation of spoiled children.

In a perfect Merica!

POTUS = Figurehead, Foreign Policy, and SCOTUS stacking
Congress = Pursestrings & Internal Policy
SCOTUS = Referee between the other two

During Clinton, it was D and R doing compromise and we got the only budget surplus since Ronnie took office in 1980. Now both sides just yell at each other and blame the other side. A POTUS setting the narrative to compromise would be great, but that has not happened in a generation.

This has acid flashback feel to the 1970's, you would be amazed how much prices can go up in a very short time.

Back then, there were still enough D's who believed in the reform of medicare, medicaid, and overall welfare reform. You can't find any of those D's now. You can find some that talk about it on the campaign trail, but any bill or proposal put forth to reform these things results in kicking and screaming like you've thrown holy water on a demon.

Medicare is not welfare. You earn it over your career. I’m old.

One day people will realize there is no two party system. It's class warfare not D vs R.

Disgusting display from Congress. They can get this through but not anything meaningful for the voting populace.

It's an Elitest Apartheid of bubble creatures. The uni party is what created Trump and is still not done.

Swamp doesn't want to be drained.

Just like that, Trump wins again. It's really uncanny. You can hate him but he gets shite done. Even his haters get their cake and can eat it too.

Wouldn't call it a win but if he can get the oil down and get Israel under control it may not be as big of an L as it could have been

Oil down is the win, everything else will fall into place now with economic pressure off the voting base.
