Not even saying I love the EPA and the regulations and I appreciate that the red tape gives power to idiots in government. But there has to be a way to hold mega corporations liable and responsible for shite like poisoning our water or cancer clusters due to them trying to save a buck. With moves like this, these companies won't be held accountable and the common man is who suffers while they continue rake in billions. That's why im souring on stock market go up = everything good. That's not reality.

Agree or disagree about US reglulations, I feel safer having them

Not that they can raise it cheaper over there, but you will not catch me eating it as less regulation on feed to raise and pollution levels in the water there.

The US taxpayers names were not on the payment so no they did not actually pay the tax..... Foreign companies did..... Now some amount of that goes into the overhead of the product COG but it's not a tax to the consumer in real terms.
Also very short sighted of the Supreme Court as prevailing logic was different when the US produced 90% of what it consumed. Tariffs weren't a big thing. Now that we produce 30% or less, the need for guard rails and equity with our trading partners is far more important.
Those dilrods proved yet again that the Boomers are the most self centered generation by again kicking the burden of this to their grandkids and great grandkids
... $37 trillion in debt, tariffs had already raised $500 billion.... No matter what side of this you are on, it's selfish as F to keep adding debt when we already collected the money.
Further, This Iran, US, Israel war is unique in that the US taxpayer funded munitions being shot by all sides. thanks to Carter and Obama.....
