I wonder if off camera Kirk was like, “ they are letting them play, OSU is holding on every play..”

I doubt it. Homers never think their team does wrong

this doesn't really bother me that much. Stinchcomb has called quite a few UGA games on national TV over the years and nobody bats an eye at that.

Fowler and Herbstreit are ESPN's #1 annoucnign team and tyhey get the #1 game; if OSU happens to be in it then oh well. I notice nobody ever asks if Fowler would be able to be on the call during a Colorado game which is his alma mater.

Herbstreit is not nearly the homer our fans make him out to be. He and his family actually moved from Columbus to Nashville because they got tired of dealing with OSU fans who didn't like how critical they thought he could be.

Fowler and Herbstreit are also about to basically become the TV voices of Georgia football with the SEC foolishly giving their entire inventory to ESPN, so we might want to get used to them.

Fowlers call of that was 1000x better than Scott H.

Scott's call of the field goal sucked too.

Ben Ingram (Braves radio announcer) called the game locally and did a much better job than Howard. I think Georgia should send him a blank check and tell him the job is his for as long as he wants it.

Saw that. Love him with the Braves. And he gets those big moments well. The Soler call was awesome.

Too bad Hudson Mason stepped all over his calls.

Herbstreit was trying to keep his Ohio Stateness under wraps but it came through on several occasions during the telecast.

When Bennett's pass was complete down around the 10 yard line you could hear the air going out of Herbstreit. I thought he recovered pretty well after the game was over.
Herbstreit is a professional.

The Ohio Staters hate him because he does not sing their praises all the time. That fanbase is nuts.
