It’s not just some big coincidence UGA continues to just happen to grind teams into dust in the second half and the 4th specifically. It is literally all by design. We can complain about the offense at times where it may be frustrating to watch or whatever but we can’t really deny it’s achieving its desired outcome nearly every time

Midway through the 2nd and into the 3rd quarter Texas had adjusted and started to shut UGA down on offense. Gunner made a couple bad reads on some options, but overall Texas was looking good. The 4th quarter started and the switch was flipped, love seeing it!

Yeah. Some here conveniently forget that the other staffs also make adjustments and that they have scholarship athletes too.

I still think Bobo had a package of plays that he knew would work after we jumped on them in the first….then went back to vanilla offense….and then got back in his bag in the 4th.

There’s no other explanation I can think of to explain how we looked like a different offense in the first and last quarters other than conditioning and intensity kicking in in the 4th.

He talked about how a navy seal spoke to the team on Monday too. About how this team wants to drag you down into the surf with them to see who quits and rings the bell

“That’s our persona, that’s who we are. So if you’re willing to get down and dirty, and you wanna get down in the weeds, and you wanna go in there and hit people, stop people, crack people. If you’re willing to get down and dirty, then we’re gonna take you down there. We’re gonna see how long you wanna stay down there with us, and how long you wanna do it.“

“ our sports mental guy, we had a long on Friday. And we talked about what’s not for some people is for others. And the hardest part of SEAL training is when they go after the hype phase. Everybody’s hyped up, and everybody’s hyped up to kick off. But when they go to that water phase, and they go down and do the water torture, surf torture, not everybody wants it. It’s not for everybody. And people start ringing the bell, and we wanted our guys to take it to the water, and see who wanted to ring the bell, and be the most physical team. They enjoy that, they enjoy that personality.

Which is why taking a month off is NOT good for us. Conditioning and chopping is our second half mojo and not having game time fitness for that long isn’t good.
