that's not what you said earlier though, all you mentioned was losing his control of the defnese. Which he would likely have less of at bama than here.

Agreed. I'm real interested to see if Saban would even want Pruitt though. I still feel like Pruitt has really hurt his career with some of the rumored stuff this season..

I'm sure he has more options than that. I'm just saying if Kirby is hired I don't see any way Pruitt stays. DC at Bama would be a job upgrade over DC at Georgia. And all the gumps are saying if kirby goes the job is Pruitts.

Agreed. Seems like Pruitt is the kind of wild card that Saban wouldn't tolerate. The dude like to run a machine, and it's harder to do if one of the main cogs is potentially unpredictable.

My point is the allure of staying at Georgia is he has control. If he's going to lose his control he would take a better job if it was offered.

That might be the rub. Bama fans said there was a rift with Pruitt because after he left for FSU he poached recruits. Could be bullshite but you never know.

Interesting - Mack Wilson (5* LB expected to be a heavy Bama lean) just said he is pushing back his commitment date. Was originally announcing Dec 4th. Speculation abounds.
