Went from he’ll be fine to.....

"We're hopeful that he's going to be able to play," Smart said about Swift.

LSU isn’t going to prepare any differently whether or not Swift plays.

So if this is gamesmanship I don’t care for it.

And I am sure Kirby is concerned with your input and will take that into account next time he's up there.

And UGA playing not 100% Cager isn't going to help our cause in the SECCG.

As I said being vague about Swift doesn’t benefit us in any way.

And how is it detrimental?

Maybe Swift is being a little vague about Swift. It wouldn't be the first time that's ever happened when a player gets a little dinged up at this point in the season.

It makes LSU have to spend time game planning when they could be focusing on other things.

He is playing, all players have chronic injuries at this point.

Plan for what? They’re going to plan as if he is playing just as they would anyway.

It's a ruse. Not disclosing injury status to make it harder to game plan around us. Dawgs got to win the mind games to win this week

Again....LSU is going to plan for swift regardless. I’m all for mind games but if your best back is in question when in doubt they plan for swift. If we end up not playing him then that doesn’t hurt them at all.

The fact we are all talking about it means it's working...

This all seems logical, so why do you assume that Smart is playing mind games? Best answer is that, for whatever reason, he's no longer certain that Swift will play. Plus, historically he's been honest about which players may not play, so no reason to assume he's lying now with nothing to gain.

Well I’ll just proceed worrying about how we would look without him. I’ve been optimistic even without Cager and Pickens the first half. But without Swift......

It’s working on me but not LSU. They aren’t Georgia fans.

If we've learned anything from the last two SEC championships it's better to have players at full strength than to rely on someone who's injured.

See Kerryon Johnson and Tua

Look at David Marshall on injury reports from last year. Listed as questionable/probable for the last couple months of the season. Marshall couldn't even walk

Swift's facial expressions and body language on the sidelines after he got hurt suggested that he might be a little more than just dinged up.

But who knows. We'll see in a few days. Can Zeus and McIntosh break out? I like Herrien...he's like old reliable...but he's neither a speedster nor a bulldozer.

No. It's only working if LSU is talking about it. But, LSU is probably talking about "What if ...?" Herrien, or White, starts at RB. My guess is Herrien will start, and (if Swift can play) he will come in 2nd series to surprise everybody.
