Pickens ain't going anywhere for the next 3-4 years. remember, Richt ain't coaching UGA anymore..

We've seen this all year. Every time a db "disrespects" him he gets all up in their grill like he's some entitled super star. I doubt he'll ever make 4 years at UGA...

Gantt is helping mentor him. Different approach than what Richt would do. We may save him and turn him around. Hope so from a talent standpoint and for the kid. Hope we can do it. He has hit a low point. Could be a good character moment.

I hope so; we are in dire need of talent WR's.

I'm not going to judge an 18 year old kid on hitting someone that's actively trying to beat his arse. My only advice for him would be not to punch a helmet when your hands are what's going to make your living.

Maybe he has a particular talent that can be leveraged. If he's good at smashmouthing the DB in game and getting in his defender's head, maybe that's a +15yd play off ball in his hip pocket. If he can make the guy respond emotionally but keep his cool, he could help the team in a backhanded way. Has its risks though.

Gotta hold on to him. He’s 1st Rd. talent. I like him and think he brings an edge to our lacking position on offense
Absolutely.I think everyone saw how we were caught shorthanded at the WR position this year and how it affected the entire offense. We cannot afford to lose em going into the '20 season .

What’s Saban’s secret for keeping his players from thugging out when confronted?
I saw it multiple times yesterday when the pushing and shoving and jawing started, Bama players would throw their hands up in air and back away. Multiple times. And with an Auburn player all up in their face.
So, it can be coached. And it can be done.
The amount of people falling all over themselves not to be judgmental of Pickens for this stupidity is mind blowing.

Didn't they get a couple of personal fouls for fighting back? I know they had at least one.
I'm hoping Kirby emphasized at halftime how important it was to avoid DQ's in the 2nd half.
