It had at best a ~15% chance of working and that is what you draw up to convert?

If executed correctly, that play has about a 90% chance of success. The ball was placed where the defender had no chance at it without getting a PI call.

And a UT team that has already been able to move the ball to field goal range.....in an all out situation.

You are also not a counting for the time and timeouts used to score the TD.

50/50 at best given you have execute a perfect throw and stay in bounds.

Because the defender can't get to the ball without a PI call. "Executed correctly" means the ball was thrown to the right spot and the WR catches it.

All true but you run that play 10 times and you may get 1 result like we did. The pass and catch were perfect which doesn’t happen that often.

I’ll say this. I’m much more disappointed in our defense Saturday than our offense. Wtf. CJ Allen can’t tackle now?

I hear you. I don’t think the play call itself is a high producing one but if executed correctly it can be. The problem is always executing it correctly

What new innovative plays did he call?

first play in OT was taken from Detroit. Our first time running it. Had Micah lined up at RG, and he pulled and was lead block that busted it big. Loved that play

Bobo scores 38 at Tennessee and wins the TOP by 10 minutes and he sucks. This place.

Chaney put up 41 in Knoxville, let’s not act like this is just unheard of during Kirby’s tenure. Does Bobo suck? No. But I would say the questionable run/screen plays late in the game on 3rd downs is what baffles some fans.

I was really excited about him as a freshman. He doesn't seem to have grown into what I expected him to be. I have posted this opinion before and been shite on here.

Vandy put up 42 in Tennessee that year. You’re comparing what this Tennessee team is to a Butch Jones Tennessee team?

The TD play to 16 at the end of the game was a great call anticipating UT not having a safety back. You have 1 on 1 with a Freshman CB in man who is never getting his head around. I am shocked the Bobo ney sayers can even be Kancery on that call.

It’s hard to find anything to be shitty about from a play calling standpoint for me. The right tackle was basically an open door all night. Scoring what they did and keeping the defense off the field as much as they did was a miracle.
