God I hope he looks good. We need it.

Yea, we could use some good news for a change. It's been like yet another chapter in a never ending story of our best players not being available season after season and then some of those same players go on to have stellar professional careers.

Just a tad too late. The season is shot now.

It wasn’t shot when we were playing under the cloud of Covid or when our plan A and plan B decided not to play this year? Hmmmmm

No, we had a chance then. Now we're playing for the fun of it.

We should always be playing for the fun of it.

So you want to start a true freshman against climpson?

Yes absolutely. Certainly over the guy who had 4 multi interception games in the pac12 along with negative 145 rushing yards

You are aware that people improve right? Why don't we wait to see what happens. That was what 2 years ago?

As a true freshman on a bad USC team. Let's see what he does with some more coaching and decent roster around him.

I'm not saying that he's going to light the world on fire but I'd like to see how he does.

Meh I don’t see him improving enough to win us a natty based on the film I have seen.

My big fear is he will look just decent enough for Kirby to trust and we keep being mediocre offensively whilst a 5 star sits on the bench.

Good thing your opinion doesn't matter, nor does mine if he improves or not. That's up to him. Maybe we should hope for the best not assuming the worst eh?

You've seen enough of his UGA film to make this decision? His time at USC is completely different than what he's capable of a UGA. He may suck, but he's got a better scheme and talent around him right now.

I hope he does. If we get past Clemson in game one we will have a chance to win it all. But MUST have a good qb.

Against the best HS competition in the country JT looked as good as Brock vs a pretty weak league. That's not saying the youngster can't be better, but I'll take the experienced guy against Clemson vs the kid making his first ever college start.

Why be pissed. He was walking with a limp at UF. He wasn’t ready then:
