I think he was bashing those who used a certain narrative moreso than taking a shot at Daniels.

However, if you are correct and it was a shot at Daniels, then I agree 100% with you. Daniels did not complain publicly (or behind the scenes as far as I know) He stayed ready in case he was needed. And has not taken any shots at us on his way out the door.
What more could you ask for? I hope he does well wherever he lands.
