Maybe just ready to move on with life. He’s graduated, so just take your shot now and move on if it doesn’t work out. That’s a reasonable adult decision.

It probably doesnt need to be said...
But 85 scholarships with equal distribution over 5 classes (redshirt) is 17 kids per class. Over 4 classes is 21 kids per class.
We recruit 25 per class. That is requirement to lose 16-32% of each class.
It is one of the reasons that i am not a fan of redshirts. If the kid isnt physically ready, i get it. If the kid isnt academically ready, i get it.
But how many of those kids are we actively looking for that can develop into possible nfl squad guys that stick around for 5 years?

Other than the drops, I saw him miss many a blocking assignment. Good luck kid, but no big loss.
