Not sure about the precedence set on this decision.

All players in the 2022 class are eligible for a 5th year. Cash Jones, Dillon Bell, etc

Thomas said he was open to coming back to college but didn't specify to UGA and who knows if we would even want him back.

It's a cluster because most of the rosters are set. Do these players count towards the 105? Wild times and further degradation of a once great sport.

Yes. And based on what I've read, GA is full.

We won’t bring anyone back; all roles have been backfilled.

Most of the contributors signed as undrafted free agents. I don't think they can go back to the CFB after they sign an NFL contract.

If they weren’t in the portal in January then they can only return to their original school.

I read somewhere that the judge that made them eligible also gave them a new chance to enter the transfer portal and made them not count against roster limits. If any or all of what she decreed actually happens, college football officially has no rules. Weapons allowed on the field, wide receivers on motorcycles, quarterbacks switching sides between possessions.

I am fine with it, finally time GA benefits from the chaos of the portal.

If Mark Cuban can throw billions for Indiana to buy a Natty, then I am fine with a 5th year senior able to come back.

Or Trinidad Chambliss situation where he had covid for 2 weeks and sat the bench and claimed he had a whole year as a redshirt.

this would benefit multiple dozens of schools more than it'd benefit us.
To my knowledge jacorey is the only guy we might could get, and honestly how much of an upgrade would he be?

I'm guessing khalil barnes or dinkins.
Not to say JT isn't as good or better than those guys but if we did bring him back wouldn't we have to give someone else on scholarship the boot? Seems to be not worth it.

Seems worth it since he is a 5th year and had a really productive year last year.

Rather him than any newbie being broken into the system
